Anyone else looking forward to this sweet looking indie game?

I'm really excited to finally play it. Comes out on the 9th

From what I've played so far - the tutorial - its great. Going to take a while before I can get the stickwork sorted which I'll explain on the stream but so far no major complaints. The art style is cute and the music is awesome and I get to do my own voice work for the characters, always a highlight

Curious to see what y'all thought of this.

Also wondering of the skill level of who you played it with. I thought it was too difficult, even on easy, to be a game you can play w/ any significant other.

I played this yesterday by myself and with my cousin. I would say my cousin is a casual player.

Solo I had no issues. I piloted the gumball deathstar, while giving my AI pet commands for which gun to man. When we got overwhelmed by Anti-Love baddies I helped with guns and shields. My AI pet would also man the map for me too. I personally enjoyed the solo experience. My only neg is there are only two pets to choose from. You can pick a cat or a rat/dog looking thing. I would hope more pets would be added in the future. A Badger or Raccoon would be excellent.

Co-Op was great fun too. The rolls were the same as single player with me piloting the ship and helping with the guns and shield when needed and my cousin manning guns and on map duty. It was not to difficult for her to pick up.

@tylertreese - on stream I played with the cat pet AI which did a reasonable job. I have yet to get the Mrs involved but will post my findings here.

To sum up the AI I used him to move shields or man turrets while I steered. The problem is that the AI was a bit, haphazard... for example with turreted systems in tight spaces he couldn't keep up with where the ship was which meant sections were left open to bombardment. In addition, certain enemies need co-ordination that only two people could muster and often left me scrambling to the next health planet.

If the difficulty ramps I will either wait for my wife to get involved or for a possible patch to link in online co-op (something which I was surprised was absent in the final game)

@tylertreese Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We did the tutorial and Ursa Major. When my cousin comes back over to visit we plan to do the constellations Cetus and Orion.
