Topic: Xbox app not working on PC

Hi everyone

The Xbox app is not working for me on my PC. I can't launch any PC game pass games I have downloaded and I can't access the Xbox app to send messages to my Xbox friends using my PC.

Whenever I try to launch the Xbox app this error message comes up:

The error code is 0x80070422.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem and get the Xbox app on PC working normally again?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

@Sean_Xbox Contact MS themselves about it. They will be able to tell you what that error code is.

I was hoping someone on this forum would know a quick way how to sort it out. I don't know how long Microsoft would take to reply or if they suggest loads of different things.

@Sean_Xbox Unfortunately this is just a fan forum it's not associated with Microsoft. Only they would know what the error code is.

Its okay. I solved this problem. I googled the error code and I fixed it by following these steps:

People can do this in case this problem happens to them in the future. Everything is working now.
