I finished Deliver Us the Moon yesterday. It's a quite nice adventure with dark and frustrating platforming sections and confusing puzzles :S. Running and jumping was a bit of a nightmare.
So I just claimed my free 30 day Paramount+ from the Game Pass perk page as I fancy watching the Halo series. I sign up but realise there isn’t a Paramount+ app to download from the Xbox Store, neither does my TV have the app. I started the first episode of Halo while streaming from Microsoft Edge on my Series X but I am just met with a constant buffering icon, these are sometimes the norm when it comes to streaming but I do have excellent internet connection and it’s even wired from the broadband to my Series X but it’s just does not work when streaming.
I have the Paramount+ app on my iPhone and it works perfectly fine on there but its not the biggest screen. Is there any other way to watch Paramount+ on my TV?
@MaccaMUFC Do you have SkyQ? With Sky Cinema, subs get Paramount+ for 'free'. This is why I haven't bothered to look for alternatives
I don't know if your TV has the Paramount+ App built in or you'll need a 'dongle' (like Amazon Firestick) but these may also offer you that option.
This is what I have found on it...

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
Really interesting that they're bringing back some of the older Yakuza games that originally disappeared from the service months back. I wonder if they plan on keeping them semi-permanent additions on the service?
Currently Playing: Fields of Mistria (PC); Cookie Clicker (PC); Metaphor: ReFantazio (PC); Overboard! (PC)
@BAMozzy I don’t have SkyQ, I’m with Virgin Media and I’ve not long took the movie package off due to hardly being used when we have Netflix, Amazon Video etc.
I still have the Samsung KS8000 and there’s no Paramount+ app on there, the TV just misses out as it came out in 2016. I’ll just use the app on my iPhone, it’s better than nothing I suppose. Thanks for help anyway.
Just a query
Would Cult Of The Lamb eventually come to Xbox Gamepass? Looking at the platforms its on, not having it on Gamepass is an obvious omission. Never played any rogue-like games, and this one with its artstyle and gameplay would be worth trying out.
Checked out Eastward on Gamepass today. Definitely has a Secret of Evermore feeling to it. It's ok I don't think I will be buying this one but this is what Gamepass is for.

@FraserG While doing a little research for another thread / post I was crunching some data off the Xbox Game Pass Master List spreadsheet and noticed there has been a HUGE decline in the number of titles on Game Pass this year.
From an average of 22 per month in 2020 & 2021 down to just 9 per month so far in 2023. What do you make of it?
In my view, until there is evidence to the contrary, it seems that while Microsoft isn't increasing the price of Game Pass they are reducing the value of it by halving the number of games.
2018 = 116 games added. Average of 9.67 per month (corrected)
2019 = 203 games added. Average of 16.92 per month
2020 = 264 games added. Average of 22.00 per month
2021 = 265 games added. Average of 22.08 per month
2022 = 195 games added. Average of 16.25 per month
2023 = 36 games added*. Average of just 9 per month in the first 4 months. (Jan to Apr, as we don't know all the May games yet)
@themightyant that’s some interesting stats, I thought I’d had gone pretty quiet on the arrivals, we had a few big hitters early on in the year. But even they have slowed down.
I wonder if they think their 3 big games of the year were going to entice/keep gamers happy? Every thing can’t be because of a potential ABK deal surely?
Anyway the longer you own a sub the more the value drops, I’ve had it a year now, and bar a brief play of Redfall I’ve found I’m using GP less currently. Nothing is being added to my tastes, if I hadn’t just restacked for a year, right before redfall I think I’d be at the point where I potentially stop my sub until stuff drop I want, but as we all know the stacking deal is just too good.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner I agree that less is being added to my taste, but part of that is the less games overall. It used to be they would announce 11 or so games for the first half of the month and 1-4 might interest me. Now they announce 4-5 in a similar period and 0-2 might interest me. When there is nothing it sucks.
I can’t complain too much as there is still plenty on there I want to play, my backlog in general is long, but it is thinning on Game Pass the longer I stay subbed.
Mostly just thought it was an interesting statistical fact that I haven’t seen reported.
I have a question about game pass you guys may help me with. I saw that you can buy one month of game pass for 1€ if you are a new subscriber to the service, but I can't understand if this is just a momentary promotion or if it will be available from now on to all new subscribers. I'm planning on getting a series s this september, but I may consider buying it earlier if this deal ends soon.
