@DRL: Sorry man didn't mean to make you feel, bad I was just saying.
It would take more than that to make DRL cry.
Such as if I told him I was about to set fire to a pile of Dreamcast Arcade Sticks because I just don't have the space for them.
I think that would bring on a tear or two.
As much as it would devastate me to witness such a thing, I'm also somehow intrigued by the thought of it. So go on, Ken. I dare ya. See if your heart can handle that sacrilege. But we want proof.

I...I....I CAN'T DO IT. WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
That's the right answer. Had to call your bluff.
Ken, what's your take on Slave Zero? I have a copy sitting around here but have yet to play it. Maybe I did years ago, though my memory is foggy.
I haven't posted in this dreamcast thread yet! Man, the DC was one awesome little machine and remember being heartbroken when it stopped being supported. I remember the trepidation I felt when I first went to high school and my DC was the only thing that comforted me for awhile. I remember being in RPG heaven when Grandia II and Skies of Arcadia came out like a month apart from one another.
I would go back and forth on which one I enjoyed more and ultimately I settled on SoA being the superior one but felt that Grandia's combat was significantly more fun.
@SuperKMx: You haven't played Skies of Arcadia? IF thats the case you need to quite hovering and just hit that "Buy" button. You wont regret it.
No, no, I played Skies of Arcadia at launch on the Dreamcast, just I somehow got separated from it between then and now, is all
I feel your pain man I have found that I have been separated from alot of my games for whatever reason. One reason I am weary about trading games in. I take them in saying ok I am not going to play this anymore I haven't touched it in six months, but than it never fails like a week after I trade it in I want to play it again lol.

I got rid of a lot of my Dreamcast stuff before Christmas, as I realised that as much as I love the machine, I had an awful lot of absolutely appalling games for it! Narrowed it down to the absolute classics that I want to play again, so I only have one shelf-full left.
Got a couple of things left to pick up, and another arcade stick for multiplayer stuff. Also quite fancy customising an arcade stick. Maybe painting one black and giving it bright orange buttons. Hmm...
Well I finally got a chance to sit down and see what all the hype for the DC is about. The only game I have right now is Sonic Adventure (I am currently looking to get a few more) but even after playing that for an hour I can say what a great system this is. I mean at that time put against the PS2, Xbox and GC the DC blows them out of the water. It's truly a shame that the DC died as quickly as it did cause Sega had a winner on it's hands with this one.

Well I got from a coworker of mine a copy of Crazy Taxi and a VMU. He got rid of his DC years ago but he still had those laying around. When I told him that I got one he said that when he found them he would give them to me. Many so many memories came back when I fired up Crazy Taxi for the first time.

Waiting on a VGA cable to arrive, and I'm gonna be diving right back into Crazy Taxi. Haven't played it for so long.
Oh yeah just got another Black Sports Edition DC for $25. So that makes 3 Dreamcasts total a white one and 2 Black. Now if only I can find games as easily as I am the systems.

Niiiiiice pickup! I've still got a few games on my purchase list that I'm trying to pick up cheap. Skies of Arcadia and Daytona USA 2001 are at the top of my list.
I've just ordered a home-made VGA box from a guy over at the Assembler forums, which recreates arcade scanlines on the Dreamcast and does proper upscaling too. I can't wait to see the effect!
@SuperKMx: Sweet going to have to show us some pics when you get it set up lol. Yeah Skies of Arcadia is one of the top must have for DC that everyone keeps telling me about. I have it on the Gamecube so I am not interested in the DC version cause I rather spend my money on games I haven't played on DC. Right now I am keeping an eye out on some DC game lots on ebay and other places but so far I have hit nothing. Hopefully my luck will get better. Right now I am keeping an eye out for Power Stone and Soul Caliber.

Haven't posted in here for awhile but been playing my DC lately and managed to pick up a few games for it since I posted here. So far I have
Sonic Adventure
Shenmue
Crazy Taxi
MSR
And just picked up Virtua Tennis for 5 dollars from a used bookstore that opened up down the street from where I live.
Thinking of adding to the collection some more this weekend so anyone have any suggestions of games I don't have. And before you say it, I have Skies of Arcadia on Gamecube so I don't want that on the DC, I want to get games I don't have first.

@Utena-mobile: The Sega Saturn and Dreamcast are two different systems. The Dreamcast was Sega's last system before they just went to software. Because it's a different system the DC can't play Saturn games but the DC has its own great library.
