The first big week for some. Not much of interest there for me. Might give MHR a go but not sure it’ll stick.
What a week for xbox
Persona 4 already preloaded!
@ParsnipHero Rise is very good for MH newbies.
@NeutronBomb good to know. I wasn’t that fussed by Monster Hunter: World. I don’t think Rise’ll change that too much.
My group of friends is fiending for monster hunter, I've heard the coop system works better in this one than world which is great news.
A Space for the Unbound looks interesting. Looks a little like a pixelated Shenmue aesthetically.
@Jenkinss It's way better. No requirement to watch the cutscenes before anyone else can join in this one.
That being said, there is a single player portion that does not have multiplayer (village quests).
Does Monster Hunter: Rise suit a single-player experience? I’ve always been interested in the series, but I don’t have friends to play with and have never even played an online co-op game before. That probably sounds weird – especially coming from a 50yr old whose been playing videogames since the 80’s!
If Rise isn’t for me, I’ve still got Persona 4 Golden to look forward to. I played the first 10hrs or so on PS Vita, but sold the handheld before I got any further. So I’ve been looking forward to an HD version to hit consoles for years.
@The_Pixel_King Yes it does. I play MH solo 95% of the time and it's great. It does have a high barrier to entry though. I'd advise watching a few beginner YouTube videos before playing.
If it gets it's hooks in you, they will stay in you. I started on the 3DS and have thousands of hours across multiple entries.
