Like a Dragon 🐉 🦜and Avowed for me.
Kingdom Come Deliverence II is probably the standout on that list for myself.
Avowed has potential to scratch that Elder Scrolls itch but I need to see more when it drops and the review embargo is lifted.
Avowed 110% of the way. It looks great, sounds unique, and the setting has me in awe. I wanted to play the first Kingdom Come, but I heard it was super hard (due to realism).
Avowed is the only one I'll be playing. Hopefully, if I can finish Indiana Jones and eternal Strands. Will wait for a sale for PGA 2K25.
Avowed and Lost Records will simultaneously share the distinction of being my first game of 2025.
I’ll try Avowed, but the movement and combat look clunky to me. I do like Obsidian so I hope to still be blown away.
Lost Records also sounds intriguing. Kingdom Come 2 should be a blast, but I will prolly get it at a discount in a year or so.
Probably just Avowed. I may spend some rewards points for Like a Dragon, though.
I have the Collector's Edition of Kingdom Come on pre-order, though I will not open it. Unsure whether I will play it, but I wanted the model. 🤪
I am mildly interested in Avowed, but have yet to be wowed with what I have seen thus far, so I'll be playing it on Game Pass, if I play it all. I am also kind of interested in Yakuza and Lost Records, but will await reviews on those too. Will you be doing reviews on any of these games, @FraserG? And do you have review copies in hand as of yet, or is it a case of them giving you no time to get the review done before release (again!)...?
@Fiendish-Beaver The intent is to review at least three of the four games you've mentioned here, but I'm going to stay quiet on the whole "do you have review copies in hand" thing as different publishers have different requests when it comes to NDAs and embargo dates.
But yeah... we'll do our best for you! 👍
Awesome, @FraserG! Thank you...
I am interested in Avowed, Kingdom Come and Lost Records. Quite a lot for a February! I expect a lot of them want to get their games out before GTA6 and the Switch 2 launch and dominate the conversation.
Avowed and kingdom come
I am excited for Avowed. Managing expectations that it's a B-game experience
I am looking forward to Avowed, Ambulance Life Simulator, KKD2 and Like A Dragon! It will be a busy month of gaming for me so keen to clear some of my ever increasing backlog!
YArr! Yakuza and Pirates - Let’s Go!! Loved the look of this one since it’s reveal trailer.
Avowed… waiting to see reviews.
Does anyone know how to browse through older Xbox games on the console itself?? When you go in to view new games and scroll down it only goes so far. Aside from finding the older games when they’re on sale, I can’t figure out how to view them chronologically back to 2014 when Xbox One first launched. Even on PS5 you can filter it to “oldest to newest” and all the older games are there to view in date order. Idk lol What am I missing here? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I'll check out Avowed. Looks outdated. And let's hope they keep character customization to two genders. You know - male and female.
@Romans12 of all the things to be concerned about on the run up to a game's release, that seems like a rather unimportant one. If there are, shall we say, 'extra' genders, then just don't make use of that option and get on with the game. It won't impact on the experience at all.
Far Cry New Dawn???
Does this get a native Series X version?
Avowed is the reason I got cold feet selling my series X.. I really want it to be excellent and I get a feeling it will be.
Indy was a game that made me see it wasnt all about avowed (though it still gives me a headache 😢).
As usual, GP players are eating well.
Avowed for me looks great".. once I finish Indy
Avowed's inclusion of Korean and Japanese was deferred.
We did not use Early Access, only paid for it:)
Should be what games are coming to Sony and Nintendo after yesterday.
Avowed will be 74GB to install on console FYI
