The sheer number of Xbox indie games we're getting these days is ridiculous - those folks over at ID@Xbox at working their magic right now! Just looking at February 2025's new releases lineup alone, we've got at least 30 heading our way throughout the month, and probably more like 50 by the time we get to February 28th!
It's very difficult to keep on top of all these, so we always try and help at least a little bit by providing a list of 10 new Xbox indie games every month that might be worth putting on your radar. This includes games with a more mainstream publisher - as long as they've been made by an indie-style developer, they're up for inclusion on this list.
Please don't limit yourself to just these 10 though! It's well worth looking through the full 2025 new releases guide that we've prepared elsewhere on Pure Xbox so you can see if anything grabs your interest that we haven't highlighted here.
So, here are 10 exciting Xbox indie games to look out for in February 2025:

I'm really looking forward to Lost Records.
Cant say any of these really do it for me to be honest. The pirate one looks cool but I'll probably not pick it up any time soon with what's on the horizon.
Has someone from the site team previewed these, or are they picked based on the trailer and marketing blurb included?
@RentedPanda The latter.
For the games that are already available, their reviews are taken into account as well.
I wish more of these were on game pass. It feels like there are less indies on game pass lately, and more 5yo AAA/AA games instead that you could just buy on sale for $5
