One of the most interesting titles to re-appear during Xbox's April 2024 indie showcase is Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - an upcoming story-driven adventure from the folks behind Life is Strange. December's reveal teaser has been followed up by a new 'lo-fi summer trailer', which you can take a look at up above.
If you've played any Life is Strange you'll probably be getting similar vibes here; but Lost Records asks you to "film your summer of 1995 and create memories of a lifetime with your new friends". Here's some more info on the team's upcoming narrative title:
"As summer comes to an end, so does their friendship. A downward spiral culminates in an unexplained event that makes them promise to never see each other again. Now, twenty-seven years later, fate reunites them to confront the long-buried secret that they left behind in 1995.
The girls’ promise, made all those years ago, forever altered the course of their lives. The reason behind this promise is in your hands as you make choices both in the past and the present. Shape the narrative of both timelines, in 1995 and in 2022. What really happened that summer?"
Lost Records is already confirmed to be coming to Xbox Series X and S, and we'll be on the look out for a proper release date in the coming months. In the meantime, take a look at some fresh screenshots down below:

looking forward to this. with no life is strange game in the future from square enix Dontnod can make there own games into a series that could potentially fill the void and take off for them
This is potentially my most anticipated title for the rest of the year. I absolutely cannot wait for this one.
I’m bummed it’s not on game pass. I’ll play it eventually, but on game pass I’d have played it day one.
It is still strange to me to read "now, 27 years later... Confront the secret left in 1995!?!?!"
I really like the LiS so this goes on the wishlist (although I most likely won't fork 70€ for it)
