I am at World 3 now. The game is not nice looking but that does not bother me. The worst for me is that you have to beat the whole World in order to save, hence you cannot save between levels. For a game that hard it is a real hassle.

When I asked the dev about it on Nintendo Life, they said that the priority was getting Soon Shine ready for release next week, and depending on its success they may not go back to Wii U if it fails.

I got a bunch of Wii U eShop games yesterday, so I will be playing those. Namely Shovel Knight and three smaller titles (Chubbins, Shut the Box and Kung Fu Rabbit). Haven't tried the latter yet, but obviously I am enjoying the first one a lot.

If I have time, I may continue my Kalos journey in Pokémon X.

Yeah, I guess they are too busy with TLOU and Destiny to play something else But seriously, I like this feature and would like to see it back in the other sites. It has been awhile now.

I am not jealous of the people playing TLOU right now, but of the ones who are playing it on PS4 for the first time. But I have Wind Waker HD and I never played it on Gamecube, so that is something, I guess.

This weekend I will most likely spend some time clearing backlogs. Played 25 levels of Cloudberry Kingdom just to realize the game does not save itself so I lost all that. It is getting unplayable and I am just in Chapter 2 so I doubt I will be coming back.

Played some Abyss on Wii U too. Maybe I will go back to Guacamelee to get more hidden goodies.

Nope, just the twelve regular stages. I had no idea there was extra content beyond the DLC. Then the game is an even better value.

I just beat the main game (DX2) with all the medals and gold crowns. Now I just need to beat the DLC. A very addictive game, never really frustrating.

Thanks for the advices. Overall I am very pleased with Guacamelee. The aesthetics are awesome, the game has a lot of charm and humour (plus tons of Spanish and Easter Eggs), and the game is very fair. I liked the abundance of checkpoints, how your life is replenished whenever you touch an altar and falling on a bottomless pit won't kill you, so you are not afraid of experimenting.

Hard to fault you for beating it so many times. Is there anything new if you beat the game on Hard?

I am getting every single medal and gold crown before moving on. Currently in Stage 10. What I am not sure of is if I should get the first one. I love this one, but maybe it will be a downgrade after playing 2?

And for the record, I beat Guacamelee like an hour ago. Did not get 100% though.

So Sumo Digital is working on this and LBP3? Never thought the studio was that big.

Anyway, nice to see some unconventional vehicles like that old Volkswagen Van.

I have been waiting forever to get Siesta Fiesta, so of course I got it as soon as I got home (after taking my dog for a walk, as it was a beautiful Thursday afternoon) and as anticipated I am having a blast. A very original, cheerful and colorful offering.

I also got Bike Rider DX2 since I heard it was good, so I am juggling both games. Maybe I will beat Guacamelee and if possible, Flowerworks HD.

Don't feel bad about it. I beat the Wonderful 101 four times because I loved the gameplay and the humour so much, and I had a ton of untouched games too. That is the mark of a great game.

It is the second time that you say that you hate to admit that you beat Guacamelee three times. I don't get it because it is a great game. You should feel proud instead.

It always sucks to hear so many people are losing their jobs.

I will finish Armillo and will probably try to play some more Pokémon X. I could start Wind Waker HD, but I will leave it for next week, as there is a holiday for me.

Now I would be interested to know if this increase in sales is due to NOT having Kinect, or the system being $400, or even both.

A great review. As you had mentioned in a comment before, it is a very interesting game and I am glad I bought it.

Add another vote to the Wii U team. Unlike the Vita, Nintendo is putting their AAA titles on it, so it has a great present and a bright future. And since you already have the other two consoles, you are not missing any third party games either.

Guacamelee, Steamworld Dig (beat it yesterday), Pokémon X, Armillo and MK8.

For me the only thing decreasing is the amount of money I give to Ubisoft. Games are already expensive as they are to keep adding costs to the player. And since there was no resistance, then they will keep abusing the model.

I got three games on my Wii U and I will be playing those:

Armillo, Guacamelee and Cloudberry Kingdom. I am loving all three. Still need to pick up Shovel Knight, Skypeace and Bike Rider DX 2.

This one looks sweet, I just hope that it is not style over substance.

This is EA we are talking here, so this was no "error". Most likely it was "testing waters with a new business model to see how gamers react".

But after Ground Zeroes, this does not really surprise me.

I am getting a Wii U version as well, since I pledged $40 to get the OST. This was my first kickstarter. I love game developers staying true to their dreams even if IP owners won't let them.

That is an interesting way of having players upgrade to One, without alienating 360 users. I will be getting this on Wii U when it hits, the very same day. I keep hearing it has a ton of Nintendo references.

Hi there! Thanks a lot. I find myself checking the site several times a week, when a year ago I barely knew NintendoLife had a sister Xbox site. This last E3 really put Microsoft's console on my map.

I will be downloading Shovel Knight, after reading so many glowing reviews my curiosity is piqued. I am near the end of Crashmo as well.

I guess that getting Halo is like getting Mario if you get a Nintendo system. And all Halos in the same package sounds even better. I am also very interested in Forza.

Thank you very much for the kind and in depth reply. As you recommend, I want to wait to see more games on each console and then base my decision. I am amazed at your HD consumption comment, as that makes the 32 GB that Nintendo offers sound about the same, or much bigger if you go physical.

The thing is that I have never had a MS console, so something like the Master Chief Collection is amazing value for a newcomer. And since I have a PS3, then TLOU Remastered and LBP3 don't interest me for a PS4. Same with The Evil Within.

And to end with a funny note. I have seen some of your avatars now, and they all are from Nintendo games. Thanks again!

Hi there, Jaxon! I saw your signature and I thought you had the One only preordered, so congrats on yet another backlog, lol! As I mentioned there, the E3 games (specially Kamiya's Scalebound) have me considering a One over a PS4. In any case I won't get it until 2015. I would like to hear your impressions on the system and the games, and how does it compare to Sony's machine. Thanks!

I wonder who is going to buy CoD Ghosts when the new one arrives two months later.

I feel Microsoft should try to secure more deals like Scalebound, to try to lure in more Japanese gamers. The vast majority of those games are Western.

That's the thing with the MGS games. The story is polarizing, as it will draw you in for all games but being a barrier of entry for newcomers or people not interested in said story.

And similar to completing the National Pokédex, it gets harder to achieve with each passing game.

This game reminds me of InFamous. Maybe that is why I am not really feeling it.

I started coming here after E3 because I felt they had better games than Sony so I guess people may see me more often. I am still surprised at how few comments most articles get here.

Anyway, this weekend I may conclude my Bayonetta playthrough on Hard, and I will be playing some Pushmo World and MK8.
