@flameboy84 I think I am. I was able to download Mass Effect for the Xbox One with a help of a friend, so I assumed this was not going to be a problem. Guess not. :/
Probably to the new generation of gamers, they wouldn't care because... well they're new to it. But this is a big deal for me for several different reasons.
1) Clutter. I know that some of you out there are saying that would keep the old consoles to play the old games. That's fine and dandy, but why should I keep the old consoles if the technology to play BC is available now? I would gladly spend a few dollars more to have my new console have backwards compatibility.
2) Saved games. I've spend a lot of time playing these games, and these hardware companies want me to start over again by releasing an HD version of the older games? Sorry, I'm not interested. But that's a killer for me.
Can Microsoft and Sony release at least two versions of this: one with BC and the other without, that way BOTH customer bases are happy?
BTW, the reason why people weren't fired up about the original Xbox games on the 360 is because they were poorly emulated.

Somehow, I can't add the DLC yet. :/
Re: Microsoft Removes DRM and Internet Check-Ins from Xbox One - CONFIRMED
Backwards compatibility or bust!
