Personally, I found it quite a disappointing year - the two games I had high expectations for, Diablo 4 and Starfield were disappointments. I didn't go beyond finishing the campaign on Diablo 4 as it was getting boring with all the back and forth to towns just to manage inventory. Starfield just didn't resonate with me right from the off - I was expecting something far better than what we got. I know some people love these games, but for me they were disappointing. After I ditched Starfield I played the Halo Infinite campaign and then Multiplayer for the first time and that is the most gaming fun I have had this year.
