I've had my eye on this for a few weeks. I really hope it turns out well.I loved Ready 2 Rumble on Dreamcast. I haven't played a new boxing game since Fight Night on the GameCube.
@GamingFan4Lyf From what I've heard, they do intend to expand it. One of the games I'd most like to see is one I had never heard of until it appeared on my YouTube feed last week. It's called Red Earth and has some of the best pixel graphics I've ever seen. It's never been released outside the arcades so it would be a great addition to Arcade Stadium.
@skaarj217 The package includes a remastered version of RnR Racing with widescreen, special effects and extra background detail, as well as the SNES and Megadrive versions. Plus it has not only the original licensed songs, lyrics and all in CD quality but extra songs too like Breaking the Law. It looks and sounds fantastic. @Dandare4479
Blackthorne has the SNES version, 32x version with different graphics and extra maps and a definitive edition that adds a map and dynamic border art.
Lost Vikings has the SNES, Megadrive versions and a definitive edition that combines the best of the SNES and Megadrive versions. This also has the dynamic border art that changes depending on the stage.
On top of that, it includes a comprehensive museum with lots of art work, box art, interviews etc. And the whole thing is beautifully presented too.
For the work that's clearly gone into this, it's a bargain at $20.
Cheers for the replies guys. I meant to get back to you earlier. I've only owned Nintendo consoles for the last 20 years, so the next gen consoles with 120fps and 4k, are surely going to blow me away.
Is 120fps gameplay a huge improvement over 60fps? I know it's double the frames but how noticeable actually is it when you're playing? Is it marginally smoother to the eye, or is it such a huge improvement that it's hard to go back to 60fps?
I wonder if Sony will now come in at a lower price point or match it? With the Series S coming in at such a low price, I don't think Microsoft will be too bothered if they do. If the Series X is indeed 'The most powerful console', then a £20 to £50 price difference isn't going to really matter.
It may well be that it's the Series S that's the biggest seller for the first year or two. I know I'm getting one and I've never owned an Xbox console.
A few of my mates own an Xbox but I've always stuck with Nintendo consoles. However I'm tempted to get one of the new consoles, probably the cheaper model along with Game pass. It's not much of an investment to get access to a huge library of games.
I'll try my best to join you guys here for the stream.
