Re: Atari Is Reviving Two More Of Its Classic Franchises On Xbox Very Soon

@TheGiraffe so you basically want something that isnt going to happen? Good luck with that. Times have changed and so called "AAA" games are dead. They are nothing but manufactured products. What i mean by that is innovation and new and interesting ideas are gone. All those big so called "AAA" devs and publishers do is rehash whats already sold well in the past, and make them from the ground up to push microtransactions and battlepasses.

Core gameplay mechanics, story, quality and quality control are all out the window. The passion for making a great, interesting game and experience is long gone in the AAA space. Now its just a job and the game is nothing more then a vessel to nickel and dime people to death to please investors. Companies are not interested in making games for gamers. All they are interested is the bottom line. How can we appeal to the most people as possible, at the lowest cost possible with the highest return in profits as possible.

And the thing is, no matter how many people complain about it, it dont matter. Because they are still buying these "games", they are still paying for in game currency and battlepasses, and these companies continue to bring in record profits while laying off thousands of employees. Its never going to stop until the consumers stop throwing money at them.

At least atari seems to be bringing the simple basic fun back into gaming, making games they want to make, not what greedy investment firms tell them to make. If you dont like it, maybe you can make your own game. Plenty if free game engines out there to use for you to learn on amd make your own game that you would want to play.

Re: Two Major Xbox Games Are Adding Crossplay Support With PS5 & PC

@FatGuyInLilCoat why? Crossplay for fps games have been a thing between console and pc players, and you can already filter matchmaking by input device. Plus if it still bothers you that much then both consoles have m/kb support. Plus theres devices on the market that people already use that "tricks" games into thinking your using a controller when your not.

Just play the game and quit trying to hold back a feature everyone has wanted since the original xbox/ps2 days....its amazing, you never hear people whine about "unfair advantage" towards wheel users on racing games, and a sim setup is alot less accessible to people then a mouse and keyboard. I guess the fps crowd is just full of manchildren who will blame everything but their own skill level lol
