We're presently working on a review for The Metro Bundle, it should be available any day now. I can tell you that the graphical effects are on par with other XB1 games and that it runs very smoothly @1080/60fps! I am personally enjoying the story and would recommend Metro to anyone who enjoyed the Fallout series.
@Emanouel
I actually haven't played the Metro titles either and have loved Fallout since Wasteland days so you may have just turned my eye towards Redux!
Since I don't remember being pelted in my sleep by genres I feel your question deserves a better answer, also, I am the new guy here so this should be said at least once... hmm hrrrmmm
Halo, everything Halo, since the day CE released. Now we can move on, new concepts in gaming always excite me as do new presentational methods and stylisations. I love a good colourful shooter yet military twitch shoots aren't quite for me, strategy and teamwork make the difference. RPG/Adventure games and Platformers with a whimsical feel or an engrossing environment. RTS and TBS. Anything with solid storytelling. Anything wacky and out of this world that I can laugh and enjoy with others!...
@sinalefa
Pokemania is a real thing! Beware! :S Three time periods, three regions, seven billion 'Mon's! One could easily loose themselves.
You and I are certainly in concurrence over Siesta Fiesta! It's such a rich and vibrant visual experience, not to mention the completely novel gameplay!
@Emanouel
ATM Titanfall is pacifying my true love for Halo, beyond that, throw a genre at me and I'll have a favorite game within it, and, ten reasons why lol (please don't actually throw genres at me, throwing things at people is not cool!)
@Emanouel
Diablo isn't quite my cup of tea but the gfx look great! I noticed quite a few readers in WGAYPTW this week are playing though, call upon our legion! Server issues and Diablo 3 seem to go hand in hand :/
@sinalefa
The X/Y story has an odd pacing to it I found. It ends in a bang, and that's a good thing, also there is some wonderful post-story content to be had for the collector and the battle enthusiast alike! Once you finish the story a plethora of Pokes not available before hand become prime for dexing! The entire catalogue, I believe!
@Emanouel
Darn tooting' those BK games came in handy!
I lined up three times and at my local, they also made the mistake of providing valid receipts... so... without a hassle I returned one AC and two COD's for an awesome gift card, thanks Burger King!
I really do enjoy the open waters and pirate theme of AC4! It's mostly the AC content that keeps me from finishing it!
@Generik
Future Shop is indeed Canadian, and they hold some insane promo's from time to time. "Trade on ANY game (I chose Crackdown and Sneak King) for next-gen AC: Black Flag, Cod: Ghosts or Battlefield:4"
This is how I feel in any COD game since they made it a smaller map experience! In Titanfall your load-out must be tailor fitted to your playstyle. The most important piece of advice I give is to change your control scheme to "Bumper Jumper" moving jump from (A) to the left shoulder! This allows you to traverse walls while still rotating your head and aiming, it takes some time to get used to especially if you're new to it but is absolutely a game changer.
As for trigger happy pilots, try the EV-8 as your main, and the auto-pistol as a sidearm. Use radar vision to get a good bearing and possibly see them first! The Auto (not smart!) acts as a close range sub-machine type weapon but can also be lethal at a distance
If that applies to your style! Try those out for a few matches.
I should be on tonight so just fire off an invite or vice verse and we'll see if I can pass on any knowledge or skill lol If not, Saturday i'll be devoting fully to T-Fall!
Unity is a coding standard like you said allowing cross platform performance BUT you'll still need a GFX suite to "create". Tell me about your vision in XB message and if I can I swear on pX grave i'll help and guide!
@Emanouel
I'd suggest downloading BLENDER for free as it's a community made studio program! I have many years Exp with BLENDER and fell in love with it for anything from pixel animations to full out 3D animations for games! If you need help or direction pls let me know! I live for this stuff!
@Emanouel
Amazing! Please let me know how things progress!
If you already know UNITY (I do you likely do as well) then this new kit should be a blast! If I ever have free time I enjoy booting up BLENDER or MAYA and this SDK should help us all!
Usually something like this is announced after it's already in play! Meaning dev's will not have to wait long at all! Support of UNITY is huge among indie dev's.
@Sir_JBizzle
Wow, I just tried to find you a link and failed hard!
It was an infamous add here in Canada aired by ZELLERS, I don't even think it did air in the U.S For the OG Xbox that went viral before... things did that.
That makes me happy, also, life on the edge is always a dangerous game to play.
I think I'll need to outsource my "goosing" in order to get beyond Gen5 in T-Fall! It's so bad that I have ten epic and comedy rich moments recorded for every one goose... being, one goose... that I hit by accident. 😒
Is that a reference to the classic "X-Bizzle, it's low scrill, yo!" adds that the Hudson bay company aired here in my home of Canada and I believe Target aired within the United States? For... the OG Xbox!
Very well put! Precisely, if you see "KiTtenChiUaUa" coming at you... you aren't afraid whatsoever! I strike fear, before I strike! (Batman should have said that, beat him to it)
I know at least one other pX member Emma who knows her T-Fall is bound to join us.
TITANFALL, anyone in for teaming up this weekend fire off a post and i'll add you and JQuest will add you and you'll add us and the whole world will live in harmony!
Allot of console gamers express a want for cross-platform gaming, it's a very complicated issue though. With every gamer that would welcome this would be ten who had an issue with controller standards, resolution, even things like how the game is rendered on a VERY technical level can become roadblocks. This is why I don't think it will happen.
Until you make it happen!
Hunger strike? Who's with... mmmmm... pizza, deluxe at that!
@sinalefa Wolfenstein is purely single player as WINGNUT said, sounds like a good one for you! I've unfortunately only been able to play bits and pieces but we reviewed it at an 8, I believe? Likely only due to the lack of co-op or multi play and that's of no concern for you.
After training and customizing and breeding and trading... I got squashed over and over and... yeah. My ego certainly was bruised and I only play unranked rounds against friends now! Filling the dex itself takes determination.
I'd bet my bottom dollar that update content... this includes things like new play modes, all of the improvements to Titan personalization or the Black Market, these updates WILL continue beyond the nine DLC maps. Support surely will not be yanked away by Respawn!
@Generik
Other sites fail to realize or report that updates will assuredly continue beyond this "Autumn" release. There has been NO official statement by Respawn regarding the next game in this franchise, be it "2" or something completely different we really have no idea what they have planned! Meaning, we here at pX. I'd personally love a story based game built upon the same foundation to expand the lore a bit, or allot more.
"I Justin Gieni officially hereby deny and denounce any negative or diminishing comments made towards words! They are great little devices for communicating thoughts and expressions, I'm using them right now!"
Ok, as long as the boss sees that I should be fine.
@sinalefa
Have you been taking part in online tournament play? I tried to take my stable of rockstar pokes into ONE tourney and got by buttocks kicked by most everyone. I had trained these little monsters and customized 'em just for tourney gameplay....no... not a chance for Justin (who's played the darn games since he was fifteen?) It's become a real science!
@sinalefa
Oh good, the second "pokeball" one was what I meant... you have him or her, awesomeness.
I was sure i'd read of all Ninty releases this week but apparently I missed one? If our friends over at NLife gave it a six... it's likely a six I'll definitely check it out nonetheless!

@Emanouel
Look to Josie's @MegaKillScreen review and the comment section for quite a few active Diablo 3'rs! I just realized that.
EDIT: A couple, active players.
Remember many people will read WGAYPTW every week so if you're looking to party up toss that in the comment section Friday mornings!
