Works for me. This game also sounds like Deus Ex on steroids, which also works for me. Actually it would be fun if they threw in an easter egg. JC Denton or Adam Jensen standing in the shady corner of a night club.
@Medic_Alert Wow, never? I say that, but the last one I finished was 10, and the last one I played was 12. My interest in JRPGs has waned significantly. I'm also with you on the time factor thing. The last RPG I finished was Witcher 3 and I expect to finish Cyberpunk. So it really depends on the game, but in general I don't spend the same amount of time gaming that I used to. Probably why I'm not in a rush to get a new console.
Mixed emotions. It's not offensive on it's surface -free game making money through micro transactions. I'd rather they dedicate all resources to the next crafted single player experience, instead of a game designed around recurrent user spending, regardless of how aggressive it may or may not be.
Anyways, not sure about the idea of a connected Remedy universe. I guess it depends on what they do with it.
@Richnj Really enjoyed Remedy over the years. Love Max Payne 1 and 2, Love Alan Wake. Never played Quantum Break. Really wasn't a fan of Control though. Makes me sad.
They will definitely make an Outer Worlds sequel. But I would be surprised if anyone other than Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky were at the helm of that project.

Re: Analyst Says Final Fantasy XVI Could Come To 'Other Consoles' After 12 Months
@Medic_Alert
Yes, I've had the impulse to try some newer JRPGs, but I have never pulled the trigger. Persona 5 almost sold me on its style alone.
I'm hoping Cyberpunk runs fine on current gen (lower than expected PC specs has me hopeful), if not it may force my hand to upgrade.

Yes, I remember how Sega was also sitting on $300 billion in assets. It was the EXACT same situation.
Re: Remedy Is Working On A Game In The Same Universe As Control & Alan Wake
@Grot
Yes, I plan to someday. Unfortunately I don't currently have anything capable of running it.

Didn't the rights revert back to Remedy?

This looks pretty great.

Throw the Black Mesa remake in and I'm there. I can't run that on my crap laptop. I still revisit Half Life 2 every now and again, love it.
