Welcome to your latest Xbox Game Pass update! Today, we have two new additions to the library, including the returning Grand Theft Auto 5 which only tends to stick around for a few months or so whenever it enters Game Pass.
Rockstar says that all console versions of GTA 5 will be available on the service — including the next-gen update from 2022 — alongside the PC version of course. Here are some brief introductions to today's new Xbox Game Pass additions:
Grand Theft Auto 5 (Console, PC) - Later Today

I'm going to return to GTA, you can have so much fun with those games. I did play GTA V on my PS4 a long time back now, but I don't think I really completed it.
Does this include access to GTA Online, and does anyone know the download size for the Series S for GTA 5?
@Kaloudz just over 100 gb for the series s/x version I think and about 90gb for the xbone version so quite big ha
And yeah the online portion should be included 👍

I don't know, Rockstar kinda lost me after San Andreas. I don't see the appeal.
Hopefully rdr2 comes soon, as never finished it. Played gta5 already. I'm a gamer who plays a game once and moves on. Online is just unbearable with pc users mods and hacks.

We owned this on PS4 but I never really played it back then for longer than 15 minutes. Others in my family did and loved it. I played 3, Vice, and San Andreas a lot. I bought 4 but never gave it a chance because I was really into some other games at that time.
I will definitely pick this up while its on the pass.

I swear gta5 has been off and on game pass like 3 times now.
@Kaloudz I only really played the online at launch so I can't really comment it's a different monster now but the campaign is very good kinda a bit of an oceans eleven vibe with a bit more crime and murder if you're playing as Trevor ha like a 90s buddy cop movie but your criminals ha ✌️
Is this the next gen updated version of GTA 5?
@jesse_dylan it comes and goes. Usually 3month on GP then 3month on Plus and cycles them.
@Ricky-Spanish I might just give it a whirl when I get round to it My only fear is that R* are notoriously greedy when it comes to their game being in GP. I'm not sure I'd be done in time before they yank it away lol.

I downloaded the enhanced version and it lags so bad. When I tried using fixes online it won't even launch the game. I have above recommended specs for my PC and it makes no difference just gonna uninstall it and forget about it all together...

@Kaloudz the campaign is a ton of fun. The acting in it is top notch. Play it for the cutscenes & character development, it's a great time
@Kilamanjaro It's Trevor that puts me off lol. He just doesn't tickle me the way he seems to have the rest of the world :/
