Update []: Xbox has since announced even more games for Xbox Game Pass in May 2025, so we've definitely got a busy month ahead of us!
Original Story: We're getting ever-closer to May 2025's Xbox Game Pass selection, so as we always do around this time of the month, we're taking an early look at what's a bit further ahead for the service. As usual, it's looking pretty great so far!
DOOM: The Dark Ages will steal the spotlight in May without a doubt, but don't ignore the rest - I'm particularly keen to check out Revenge of the Savage Planet when it arrives on May 8th! We'll be getting plenty more Xbox Game Pass titles for May as the weeks roll on as well... this is just the initial lineup.
Of course, this month is already stacked enough as it is, with lots of big titles still to come in April!
We'll keep you in the loop about May 2025's Xbox Game Pass titles as they're announced over the coming weeks, but for now, let's take a look at everything that's been revealed for May already:
Revenge of the Savage Planet (May 8)
Revenge of the Savage Planet is an upbeat, satirical action adventure Sci-Fi. Jump, shoot and collect your way across vibrant alien worlds, uncovering new gear and upgrades, while discovering various hidden secrets.
DOOM: The Dark Ages (May 15)
DOOM: The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal that tells an epic cinematic story of the DOOM Slayer’s rage. Players will step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM Slayer, in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell.
To A T (May 28)
A charming, colorful adventure game from the creator of Katamari Damacy and the uvula team about a teen navigating life in a small town with their cute dog companion. While their body is stuck in a T-pose, they do their best to make the most of it.
Spray Paint Simulator (May TBD)
Bring color to the world in Spray Paint Simulator! Restore worn-out surfaces with a fresh coat of paint and watch them come back to life. Use your spray tool with precision, cover every inch, and enjoy the satisfaction of a flawless finish.
Which of these May Xbox Game Pass additions are you most excited for? Tell us in the comments below.

Spray Paint and DOOM will keep me plenty occupied in May. What a cracking month!
I've preordered Revenge of the Savage Planet. Didn't know it was coming to Game Pass. 😅
@Lup was on Indie showcase should always check what happened on the shows 😅
Doom n savage planet good month already 😎
I literally can’t wait to go on berserk mode in Doom!
I literally can’t wait to go on berserk mode in Paint Simulator!
@Decimateh
I usually do! This happens the time I don't, haha.
I don't regret it though. Game looks super fun.
Let me get through April and I can then talk May …. However Revenge of the Savage Planet talks to me
Doom: The Dark Ages for me. I haven't been this excited for a Doom game in years.
@Lup ye looks good 1st was too so hopefully just as good. Also daft aswell which I liked 😂
I hopeful for a few Activision shadow drop next month if not whats left of this month!
From the trailer to A T looks awful 😂 Doom and spray paint simulator are the ones I'm looking forward to. Really like power wash simulator, so should be a good game play while waiting for the next power wash game.
I’m probably most excited about To a T, by team vulva. I mean uvula. It does look really fun tho.
To a T looks like it’ll be my favorite game of 2025 to date when it launches.
I watched a video the other day with evidence that DOOM and Quake take place in the same universe and now I'm looking forward to the new one even more.
I liked the first Savage Planet, I'm glad the dev escaped Google after being acquired to make Stadia content. I'd like to play the sequel but not sure if I've the time.
I literally can’t wait to go on berserk mode in to a T!
Savage planet is such an awesome time playing with friends
After what they did to Mick Gordon, I'll be skipping this one. It's the only reason, but as a musician myself, it's a massive one for me. How are you gonna treat an industry legend like an annoying insect, refusing to pay for services rendered, when he's knocking out some of the best tracks an fps has ever had goin on in the background?
After how Doom 2016 sounded, you'd think he'd have had a job for life at ID.
They're just devious ***** too, apparently
