Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Sounds Like A Pretty Long Game For Xbox Game Pass

You've probably seen us gushing over Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on numerous occasions here at Pure Xbox in recent weeks, and that's simply because it looks so good! It's also coming to Xbox Game Pass on April 24th.

Ahead of that Game Pass launch, we've learned a few extra details about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 this week - including the length, which was actually revealed ages ago but we never spotted it! So, the "how long to beat" figures for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are 30 hours for the main story, and around 60 hours if you add all side content.

"When you play Expedition 33, you can expect 30+ hours of main game, and as much side content for our completionist Expeditioners."

It's also been confirmed that the game will feature both a "Quality" and "Performance" option on Xbox Series X (and PS5), but not on Xbox Series S. We presume this means 30FPS for Quality and 60FPS for Performance.

"Console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can also look forward to playing the game in either Performance or Quality graphics modes to improve framerate or image resolution respectively, depending on their preferences."

Finally, it's also been revealed that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will feature 55 Xbox achievements, and will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning that if you buy the Xbox console version, you'll get a free PC copy as well.

Everything we've seen of this game has suggested we're in for something really cool when it lands on Xbox Game Pass at the end of the month - we'll leave you with a video preview from Game Friend (run by Craig, formerly of Pure Xbox) who does a great job summing it all up ahead of launch. There are also some written previews if you're interested.
