Sometimes it's really easy to predict a when a game's going to become popular on the Xbox Store, but in the case of titles like Deadside we don't get much warning - in fact, it basically shadow dropped on the store when it released.
it definitely is a popular game on Xbox though! As things stand, Deadside is the #8 "Top Paid" game on the UK Xbox Store (#16 in the US), and we heard recently how its publisher was "blindsided" by the success of the console launch.
With Deadside proving a hit on Xbox and beyond, it's time for update 1.3! This update goes live on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S later today, and is described as "three updates packed into one", adding lots of features and fixes.
We're going to throw the patch notes down below, and if you want more details on Deadside, be sure to check out the related article and trailer above, as well as the official description of the game that we'll throw in here too. Keep in mind that Deadside has a free trial on Xbox, so you can check it out for two hours at no charge right now!
