It's not usually the case that we get games announced for Xbox Game Pass as a result of a PlayStation State of Play event, but it happened last night - just after the show, two titles were revealed to be heading to Xbox's service.
The first of these is the survival crafting game Abiotic Factor, which has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" score on Steam based on around 20,000 ratings so far. It's obviously beloved on that platform, so we can't wait to check it out on Xbox!
Blue Prince is the other one, which is a "genre-defying strategy puzzle adventure" that hasn't actually released for any platform just yet. That said, if you want to give it a try, there's a free demo on Steam if you have a suitable PC.
We'll throw more details about these Game Pass titles down below, both of which are set to release this year.
Abiotic Factor (Summer 2025)
Abiotic Factor is a survival crafting experience for 1-6 players set in the depths of an underground research facility. Caught between paranormal containment failure, a military crusade, and chaos from a dozen realms, the world’s greatest minds must survive against the universe’s biggest threats.
Blue Prince (Spring 2025)
Welcome to Mt. Holly, where every dawn unveils a new mystery. Navigate through shifting corridors and ever-changing chambers in this genre-defying strategy puzzle adventure. But will your unpredictable path lead you to the rumored Room 46?
Excited for either of these in particular? Let us know down in the comments section below.

Both of these look great but Blue Prince takes the top spot for me. Will definitely be checking that one out.
Nice! Blue Prince in particular had my attention, great to get it on Game Pass.
Oh boy, finally a survival crafter…
I’ll def give blue prince a try tho!
These are both day ones on ps plus as well, which is unusual to have them arrive on both subs.

@neoxmahi What ?
@neoxmahi What are you rambling about? Nobody is scrambling over that State Of Play, I'm not suddenly more excited to own my PS5 so I don't think it shook the industry. I for one am happy Sonic is on Nintendo, it gets to live on. This was a very interesting comment though I guess, I suppose the article and headline didn't help much.
Blue Prince grabbed my interest because the room tiles looked like Board Game tiles. It made me think of Betrayal at House on the Hill so looking forward to how it plays out.
Blue Prince looks really interesting.
The other is just lacking in compelling ideas/theming. Pass. It needs more.
That Blue Prince trailer is very well done.
