As we enter into the new year, we've got lots of Xbox Game Pass updates coming our way right now - and a new rumour from reliable insider eXtas1s suggests January's Game Pass lineup is about to get even better.
According to the well-known leaker, Blizzard's first Diablo game is set to come to PC Game Pass this month, while 2023's UFC 5 is also supposedly hitting the EA Play / Game Pass Ultimate library in January 2025.
We don't have specific dates for these Game Pass drops yet - heck, we don't even know if they'll happen for sure, given neither title has been confirmed by Microsoft so far. Having said that, eXtas1s has delivered some pretty reliable leaks in recent years, so we're expecting both of them to arrive this month at some stage.
Speaking of Activision Blizzard and Xbox Game Pass; we're still waiting on some other additions from Microsoft's most-recent gaming acquisition. A bunch of COD games are seemingly being prepared for the library soon, while the likes of Transformers and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater could also be making their way to Xbox Game Pass in the coming months.

So one title that’s on EA play. Not actually GP.
My back log is huge so I’m happy with quiet months tbh.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner EA Play is part of GPU. And this isn't the entire list for the month lol
@PsBoxSwitchOwner If you have Ultimate Gamepass you must know there will be far more than one game for this month.
@Trmn8r
EA Play is part of GPU
Isn't it the same on Sony's highest priced subscription tier too?
@Sol4ris it isn't part of any tier on ps plus, only game pass
I'm waiting for diablo 2 and 3. Enjoyed 4. Surprised Tony hawk hasn't come to game pass already. Was rumoured to come to game pass towards the end of 2024
@Sol4ris Nope
@Kb42 & @Trmn8r
I see, thank you.
Edit: I just think it adds more value to GPU.
Thought for a second it was that undisputed...and was like oohhh not bad I will give that a go
@StylesT
Was going to same the same.
@StylesT That the new boxing game that was in development for couple years and finally released couple months ago?
Really want to try it, but really not want spend that kind of money on an unproven game. Trying for free been awesome.
I will check ufc 5
@StylesT Same, I've wanted to try it but not even a trial on PS+. I'm not buying blind but I'm willing to be convinced.
The image made me believe it was fight night champions which would have explained why it was in the ea play holiday giveaway image but never made it to the actual content given away…
