Update []: Microsoft has now confirmed that this problem exists, and has deployed a fix that should rectify the issue over the next few hours. Panic over!
"Earlier today, we encountered an issue that incorrectly suspended some Microsoft Rewards accounts. We've deployed a fix, and any affected accounts should be back online in the next several hours. Thank you for your understanding as we address this."
Original Story: A significant number of Xbox users engage with Microsoft Rewards these days, as it's an amazing way to rack up free credit for your Xbox account by playing games and completing basic tasks on a monthly basis.
So, we're willing to bet a few Pure Xbox users have run into an issue where their Microsoft Rewards accounts have been banned (or "suspended") for no apparent reason, as reports of the issue have been widespread on social media.
In other words, this seems to be a glitch that will be rectified ASAP, although Microsoft as a whole doesn't appear to be running at full capacity right now - we believe the Xbox team won't properly return until next Monday, for example.
Regardless of when it gets fixed, you can rest easy that if you've been suspended from Microsoft Rewards over the past 24 hours, you're in the same boat as many other people - and you probably haven't broken any of the rules mentioned!
