Looking for some cheap games in the first major Xbox sale of the year?
Fortunately, the Last Chance Sale includes a whole bunch of titles that have been discounted by 90% or more, bringing them down to extremely low prices! Some of the highlights are Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Back 4 Blood, Mad Max, Borderlands 3, loads of LEGO games, and even The Smurfs - Mission Vileaf - an arguably underrated gem!
In the table down below, we've listed every Xbox game in January's "Last Chance" sale with a 90% or 95% discount in the UK and/or US. Discounts can vary per-region, so a certain game might not be 90% off where you are, but it should be heavily reduced in any case. The sale is expected to last until January 13th, so you've got a while to grab these deals!
Don't forget to check out our more general roundup of the Xbox Last Chance sale too, and you may even find additional 90% discounts in the "Just For You" section of the Xbox Store, as Ubisoft is taking part in a special promotion right now.

What is happening to Xbox series x disc and discless and series s stock in the UK.
It’s slowly running dry in stores.
Smyths toys no series x disc or discless and now series s 1tb or online for delivery.
Argos now starting to run low with no online delivery in certain areas.
Also other European counties are sharing the same experience.
Looking on the internet our USA cousins in certain states are starting to experience the same thing.
No company of Microsoft’s size would let this happen naturally. Sony and Nintendo have restocked already and kept stocks up over Christmas and new year.
Maybe it’s nothing, but things like this happen intentionally not by accident. We are not in the chip shortage era now.
Currys UK also out of stock, of all Xbox series s and x consoles.
The above just goes to show that yes of course Microsofts gaming plans to expand to most if not all other devices is great, but to treat your own console in this way with stock shortages, shows how much they really don’t care about Xbox consoles.
And the blindness to not see with over 50% of GP subs on consoles is shear devil meant in disguise.
Errr! No clue... Hey look, Gravel Special Edition is only £2.49 😃
@OldGamer999 I would guess they are not making many and not restocking much.
@Browntrouser
Shame as I think they sold well over Christmas in the UK and Indy was a great AAA game.
@OldGamer999 Xbox in UK has sold really well over Xmas, that's why. More so than PS5. Goes to show that one game can indeed be a console seller.
Congrats Indy , Bethesda and Machine Games.
@jedinite
Yes I think Xbox did really well over Christmas in the UK, but its bad stock has now got this low and terrible for a business of Microsoft’s size and money to let it happen.
As for more so than the PS5 for the month of December 2024 I doubt it, but the sales numbers will be in soon so we shall see.
The problem is the rest of Europe over shadows any good Xbox sales in the UK.
Just look as Novembers sales numbers and it is very very poor compared to PS5 and Switch. Then the same world wide.
Europe November 2024:
PS5 2.1 million
Switch 537 thousand
Xbox 190 thousand
Worldwide November 2024:
PS5 4.1 million
Switch 1.7 million
Xbox 737 thousand
It doesn’t help with zero Xbox console promotion really and games going to other devices and consoles.
@OldGamer999 yeah it always annoys us Brits when our sales are overlooked or more often just lumped in with EU sales. We had Brexit for a good reason.
I also do think though that the UK has a massive love affair with Indy and that helped shift a lot of consoles. It's a tradition at this point to watch Raiders over Xmas, almost as much as Die Hard .
Anyways gotta go, at work atm. Hope you and your family have a great gaming 2025 .
