Every now and again, we tend to take a look at some of the "free" games arriving on the Xbox Store, and there have actually been quite a few over the past few weeks that we've either not covered, or only covered a little bit.
Obviously the big one is Throne And Liberty, which arrived back at the start of October. We haven't had much experience with that game ourselves, but it seems to be doing relatively well - it has a 3/5 star rating on the Xbox Store.
Beyond that, another big release is DC Universe Online for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. This optimised version of the MMO that first launched in 2011 features "smoother gameplay with quicker loading times", so if you're still playing the Xbox One port of this title, it's well worth upgrading to the current-gen version ASAP (everything carries over).
What else? Well, there's also an RPG called Grim Idle that launched today with two versions (one for Xbox One and one for Xbox Series X|S), and it's perfect for achievement hunters - you can apparently get 1000g in just 30 minutes!
Oh, and we want to bring your attention to Space Invaders: Infinity Gene - this Xbox 360 game is showing as "Free" to claim for some Xbox Game Pass members right now, so it's worth seeing if you can add it to your library via the Xbox Store. Many people grabbed this one as part of Xbox Games with Gold back in the day, but now's potentially your chance if weren't able to at the time.

Let's go back to the new free-to-play releases - here are more details about each of them:
DC Universe Online For Xbox Series X|S
"The native version of DCUO on Xbox Series X|S is built specifically to be compatible with the Series X|S hardware. This means smoother gameplay with quicker loading times. If you are currently playing the emulated version of DCUO on the Series X|S, we highly recommend switching over to the Series X|S client to ensure that the game takes advantage of the hardware’s capabilities."
Grim Idle
"Grim Idle is an idle RPG where the player explores shards of destroyed worlds and fights various enemies. Inspired by old-school dark fantasy RPGs, the game features complex character development, many unique items, and both active and passive playstyles."
Throne And Liberty
"Welcome to THRONE AND LIBERTY, a free-to-play MMORPG that takes place in the vast open world of Solisium. You can scale expansive mountain ranges for new vantage points, scan open skies, traverse sprawling plains, explore a land full of depth and opportunity. Adapt your fight to survive and thrive through strategic decisions in PvP, PvE or both as you encounter evolving battlefields impacted by weather, time of day, and other players."
Train Sim World 5: Free Starter Pack
"Download the Train Sim World 5: Free Starter Pack to get access to the TRAINING CENTER, a tailor-made environment designed to train you up with the fundamentals of loco operations!"

A co-worker of mine is currently playing Throne and Liberty and he said for a free MMO is pretty damn good. He's trying to get me to play but my current MMO space is taken up by WoW.
I'm enjoying throne and liberty. I'm on destruction server in EU.
I think the combat and world is good, but I hate quite a few things.
World boss loot drop is based on how much contribution you made, like how damage you dealt or healed. I'm not exactly sure if this is true. But if you do less damage than all the other players, you won't get any loot.
If you kill an enemy, it drops loot. But if another player hits your target first and you kill it, you get no loot.
Guild leaders can choose if their members can keep their own loot from raid bosses, or they can choose to keep loot for themselves. If you see in settings it says guild acquires loot, don't join that guild. Join a guild that says loot goes to guild members. That means you keep your own loot.
