Halo Infinite continues to grow following Microsoft's recent 'Halo Studios' rebranding, and this month's update has delivered third-person gameplay for the very first time.
Available now in the game's co-op Firefight mode, third-person play enables some frantic Halo action from an entirely new perspective. As you'd expect, then, Halo fans have been dipping into the mode to see how it all plays out - and impressions so far seem pretty positive.
Here's a look at how third-person mode is playing out right now in Halo Infinite:
As that last post hints at, this is only playable in Firefight and custom games so far - with the dev team yet to roll out third-person play for PvP multiplayer matches just yet. PvP might need a little balance tweaking before it becomes a reality, but yep, we're pretty impressed by how third-person Halo Infinite is looking so far.
This new perspective aside, the team's latest Halo Infinite Operation is quite a biggie - adding a brand-new weapon into the game's multiplayer sandbox amongst other bits and pieces.
