Every year, we produce a big list of Xbox Game Pass titles here at Pure Xbox - we've got one called "The Full List Of Everything Announced So Far" for both 2024 and 2025 - and we chuck all the announcements in there as they arrive.
But what about the games that don't have release dates or even release windows? Well, if they seem to be coming out in the near future, we'll add them to the current year's list, and we'll say their release dates are "TBD" next to them.
The problem is... it doesn't always work out. Although we've got rid of a lot of "TBD" games over the past 11 months, there are still 19 in the 2024 list that have yet to surface - including biggies such as Hollow Knight: Silksong and Ark 2.
So, we thought we'd just catch you up on these. If they don't appear before mid-December, they'll all be added to our 2025 Xbox Game Pass list instead. Keep in mind that some of them definitely aren't likely in 2024 anymore, such as Cities: Skylines 2 which was delayed indefinitely just a few months ago, but it's not technically slated for next year yet.
Here are all 19 "TBD" games in our Xbox Game Pass list for 2024:
Ark 2

Bounty Star

Bushiden
Your sister has vanished and rumors swirl that Gaoh has been resurrected with an evil army at his command. Explore for cybernetic upgrades until you are powerful enough to defeat the diabolic Gaoh and his cybergenetic army once and for all in this futuristic, action platformer!
Cities: Skylines 2 (Console)
Raise a city from the ground up and transform it into a thriving metropolis with the most realistic city builder ever. Push your creativity and problem-solving to build on a scale you've never experienced. With deep simulation and a living economy, this is world-building without limits.
Commandos: Origins
ALARM! You have been selected fora mission which will shape the fate of the entire world. Witness the very beginning of the legendary elite WWII force in Commandos: Origins. The long-awaited sequel to the Commandos series brings you right back to the foundation of the real-time tactics genre.
Dead Static Drive

Harmonium: The Musical

I honestly don't know if cities skylines 2 will ever come to console at this point. It's an optimization nightmare right now, and could end up being tricky to get to run on series s.
I just want To A T and Silksong. Just an update on either would be nice.
@somnambulance Silksong of course but I just watched the “To A T” trailer and I don’t think think I can unsee it lol…even for an obvious kids game that ***** is so cringe it was painful to watch lol
@YeyoFairy It’s a Keita Takahashi game. He made Katamari and Wattam. His games are for you or they are not. They aren’t necessarily kids games, but typically anyone can play them. They’re definitely distinctive in how they play and what they are. For me, personally, I’d rather play To a T than 90% or what actually hit Gamepass this year, and I could say the same for Silksong, except that’d be a 100% instead.
A few of these might be kinda cool. I was ready to say none of them were for me anyway. But some might be.
It’s too bad paradox has given up life as a publisher.

@jesse_dylan @Bigmanfan I think paradox losts their way for a bit the goodnews is the recent hoi 4 exp and crusader kings expansions have both been really good. So maybe their righting the ship i sure hope so.
I turned to this article expecting to see a whole lot of good stuff I'd forgotten about. Glad to see I'm not bothered by this list. (I gave up the Silksong watch a couple of years ago.)
After it's out and done with, I'd love to know the story of what happened with Silksong. If I remember correctly, it was in the 2022 Xbox showcase, which was all games supposed to be out within 12 months. That means that it was planned to be out by July 2023. And here we are 18 months after that with no release in sight. Something wild had to have happened.
