The October 2024 edition of the Xbox Partner Preview showcase featured a few Xbox Game Pass announcements, including a new shooter from Remedy called FBC: Firebreak along with the highly-anticipated Subnautica 2!

Ok now really did Microsoft actually buy Activision or what where are the Activision games for gamepass?
@Ricky-Spanish probably closed all the studios and future work so it eliminates the Sony style competition. Or the games will take many years to materialize - either way, the Activision deal wasn't a good one IMO

While I agree it's taking forever for ABK Games to hit Game Pass, this presentation focused entirely on third-party games.
Wuchang and Eternal Strands look quite good. If Subnautica 2 can match or exceed the first game (not a fan of the expansion) it will be a treat too🤞.

Wheel World looks awesome, and Subnautica 2 might be amazing. Happy to see them on Game Pass! I'm sort of sad Animal Well isn't on Game Pass tho.

Man, that trailer for Wuchang looked so awesome. But it's a soulslike apparently. Why does every cool looking action game have to be a soulslike? I like super difficult games sometimes, but I also sometimes want to play a game that doesn't make me want to slam my face into a wall.
Until this moment, I thought that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers was an upcoming DLC for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty called Fallen Feathers...it's impossible to keep up with all this stuff man.
Beyond that, Eternal Strands looks like it could be cool.
@Ricky-Spanish I'm sorry but what console Activision games in particular are you looking for? Outside Call of Duty they really haven't made much in an extremely long time, everything became CoD support studios. There's some ancient "mom we have Mario at home" mascot games, Tony Hawk games, is that the stuff you're pining for? Guitar Hero?

Good to see another game set in the Control universe, but I wish it wasn't a multiplayer shooter. It's a bit of a kick in the teeth like how Apex Legends is set in the Titanfall universe. I just want Control 2
I missed the memo that Ghost Bike has been rebranded into Wheel World, looking forward to that. FBC has my attention too.
Although Wuchang looks cool and the soulslike genre keeps going strong, I'll take a pause on the genre (meaning, stop playing a few at once 😜)

I'm going to try it out Firebreak, even if I'm not super into co-op FPS. Otoh, I'm a massive Remedy fanboy...
