Update: It's official! The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are available right now on the Xbox Store.

You can either get them in a bundle or separately, and the best bit is that everything is discounted by 20% for the next week, meaning you can pick up some of the games from as cheap as £7.59 / $9.59 until early October.

Original story: We've got some potentially exciting news for Final Fantasy fans ahead of Xbox's Tokyo Game Show broadcast. A banner for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster has apparently been spotted on the Xbox dashboard.

This collection is already available on Switch, PlayStation, Steam and mobile and includes the first six Final Fantasy games with new graphics and audio. Here's the Reddit post doing the rounds, with the same user noting how this banner apparently links to a store page, which is not live yet.

When this collection was originally released on the Switch and other platforms last year, our friends at Nintendo Life called it a beautiful and faithful reimagining:

"These six remasters provide a superb way to experience or re-experience Final Fantasy history...you’d be hard-pressed to find a more convenient, aesthetically pleasing, and faithful way to play through some of the best JRPGs ever made."
