Stalker 2 Dev Reveals Estimated Game Length Ahead Of November's Xbox Launch

We're getting closer and closer to the arrival of Stalker 2 on Xbox Game Pass this November, and following our recent hands on with the title at Summer Game Fest a couple of months ago, we've been eager to get back to it ever since!

It sounds like there's going to be plenty to enjoy when it arrives in a couple of months' time, as lead producer Slava Lukyanenka told TheGamer this week that he expects players to take anywhere between 25 and 40 hours to beat it.

"To beat the game, you would need 25 to 40 hours. I don't know the precise number, because the way we play the game is different than the players [...] But the world is huge. It’s 64 square kilometres."

Beyond this, PR manager Zakhar Bocharov also used the interview to heavily praise GSC Game World's dealings with Microsoft in the lead up to launch, stating that Phil Spencer and his team have been "spectacular" and extremely "supportive" along the way, even helping out in situations where they weren't necessarily expected to.

So, assuming there are no more delays, Stalker 2 is now scheduled to arrive for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 20th, and as mentioned it'll be available day one on Xbox Game Pass. Hopefully not long to go now!
