GSC Game World has today been sharing an absolute ton of new gameplay footage from Stalker 2 ahead of the game's release this November, with a special "Developer Deep Dive" taking place on the official Xbox Twitch channel.
We're talking raw gameplay here too, featuring plenty of commentary from the game's development team along the way. We don't know about you, but we think Stalker 2 appears to be shaping up extremely well based on this footage so far!

Here at Pure Xbox, we had a chance to go hands-on with Stalker 2 just a couple of months ago at Summer Game Fest 2024, where we described it as potentially "one of the biggest wins for Xbox (and Game Pass) in 2024".
Sadly it's no longer launching in September as planned though, with the developers requiring a bit more time to polish it up - the new release date is November 20th. That said, you'll still be able to play it day one with Xbox Game Pass!

Well this won’t be running native 4K at 60fps with all bells and whistles on any current generation console.
That’s why they should have stayed at Xbox one x and PS4 Pro and be realising next generation late 2023 or even late 2024. Now with possibly no mid generation refresh, we will be playing sub standard and not fully optimised games for at least another 2 or more years on consoles.
We are still getting cross generation games and another year of fifa and cod on last generation.
We should have stayed there until 2023 or 2024 then released the series x and PS5 at a much higher specification.
Dam shame as some of the newer games are starting to look fantastic on top tier PC, and slightly under nourished on consoles.
Watched this all the way through and absolutely blown away. It looks truly amazing.
I loved the original stalker game way back and this keeps the style and immersion just perfect.
The scenes when they were capturing body movement with actors was so good to watch.

Would be a disaster after the love and effort that has been put into this game and under such circumstances for just to average out and fade away.
Damn GSC might really be cooking with this one. The state of new single player shooters this gen is abysmal. The freedom and the immersive sim elements really seem to be shinning through here. Really think this might be one of those breakthrough successes this year.
