It was back at the end of last year that SEGA announced it was working on reboots for a variety of franchises including Crazy Taxi, and at the time we were treated to short snippets of gameplay footage for each title.
This time we've got much more than that though. Over on Twitter, an account known as Ryan from the Bronx has posted some raw gameplay footage of what certainly appears to be the Crazy Taxi reboot, said to be recorded in 2022.
The gameplay looks unpolished but pretty much what you'd expect from a modern version of Crazy Taxi, complete with multiple players roaming around the map at the same time. In the footage that's shown, the driver is tasked with being the fastest to complete their goals and/or reach the destination - and it's clearly taking place in an online world.
It's unknown where this footage has come from, but interestingly the social media user also mentions that Crazy Taxi is coming to "modern platforms" and the Nintendo Switch successor in 2027. We don't know about you, but that seems an extremely long time away for a game like Crazy Taxi... so let's hope their info isn't quite correct there!
