A few months ago, Bethesda shared a sneak peek at Starfield's first official land vehicle - mentioning at the time that vehicles would be added in a future update. There's still no date for them yet, but we do have some new footage.
This first-person video was supposedly leaked via 4chan over the weekend, and it's been generating a ton of interest ever since. It's only 28 seconds long, but it's got a lot of Starfield fans excited already! Here's a look:
As mentioned, we don't have a timescale for when land vehicles will be added to Starfield yet, but we're hopeful that they might arrive alongside the game's first major expansion (Shattered Space) when it releases later this year.
This might be just the start for vehicles as well, with Bethesda's Todd Howard recently confirming that there are plans for another Starfield expansion in "Year Two" along with more new content - the game shows no signs of slowing down!

@Steel76 Well at least you’re getting it at all. They could add everything everyone moaned about not being there and still get comments like that I’m sure.
Yes, They should have had this from the start, even something like Destiny where you can be on the personal vehicle thing. Be so much faster to get round the place.
Game changer as instead of totally boring the vehicles will make planet exploration mildly boring massive victory!!
@Ricky-Spanish
Are you just bored 🤣
To much,
To little,
To late,
To try again with you.
Great and appropriate song.
@OldGamer999 Yep especially playing starfield!
I've just chosen Skyrim to play rather than Starfield. I felt when startfield came out it would take a couple of years of updates to make it the game it was meant to be.
I found even jetpacks pointless because of how quick you get around already.
I feel they're kinda pointless unless they increase the area that is generated around your ship when you land.
All the power of modern consoles and we still have pop-in. Have graphics really moved on since the PS1 or are game worlds just too bloody big?
More proof that this game should’ve been delayed 1 year.
Xbox/ Bethesda deliberately released a badly unfinished game to its own detriment and damage to its reputation.
Don’t care that this is more stable than a usual Bethesda game it’s not up to current standard still.
As long as it isn’t mandatory, I am cool. I spend too much time resource farming and clearing locations to be stuck in a vehicle.
So much for the most hyped game from Phil
Yay! Definitely a Game changer! Now I can get explore the very boring planets even faster.
