Capcom looks like it's about to deliver the goods once again! We're now just over a month away from the launch of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and as we close in on the date, the team has provided us with a lengthy look at the upcoming Xbox title.
Up above, you can check out this fresh Dead Rising gameplay video from Capcom. The game's Director, Ryosuke Murai, and Producer, Kei Morimoto, are also on-hand here to provide some additional details on what the team is aiming to achieve with its remaster of the 2006 Xbox 360 classic.

Among those extra details is an update on the physical version of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Boxed copies of the game will launch on November 8th - almost two months later than the September 19th digital release. The game will cost you £40 / $50 on Xbox Series X and S.
On announcement of this surprise remaster, we learnt that once again, the original voice actor for main character Frank West isn't returning for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. OG voice actor Terence Rotolo was quite gracious about the snub when discussing the situation back in June.
Excited for DRDR? Are you going physical or digital for this one? Tell us your plans down below!

Oh well another remaster type thing.
One day I hope to get new games this generation for this generation built from the ground up.
@OldGamer999 We're reaching a point where development times for AAA games rival the length of entire console generations, so I'm not sure it's going to get better any time soon.
@OldGamer999 We won't be so lucky, I fear. The only new games we get is live service because idiots continue spending money on them to make them profitable.
Why would a developer pour years of work in to a "one and done" new game when they can shovel out live service crap and have intellectually challenged users spend ungodly amounts of money on them, because £15 for a skin pack that won't carry over to new games is a fantastic thing to spend money on...
@Vordus
But why are developers taking longer.
The games are no better than the top Xbox one x or PS4 Pro games that didn’t take as long with AAA games development.
The studios have become inefficient(working from home does not help), or have less staff or being spread to thinly on many games(one main reason I think) or working other non game items.
I don’t know many studios nowadays that seem to focus on one game, purely single player AAA and for just one system or console, like sometimes in the old days.
This is why the original isn't backwards compatible.
This game was fun in the original state but the controls were wonky as hell I hope they didi some work on that.
@OldGamer999 don’t say that on Push… great offence will be taken by the PlasticStation elite. 😂
I don’t mind some remakes such as the excellent RE series especially 4 but everything is cross gen, remasters and annual sports games. Hardly a great advert to buy a 30 teraflop Pro.
Looks more worthwhile than some other remasters or remakes or whatever they call these things.
