Military-themed extraction shooters are all the rage these days, with the likes of Delta Force: Hawk Ops and Escape from Tarkov just a few popular examples. Another game hoping to enter the fray is Arena Breakout: Infinite, and while the game isn't on Xbox right now, the team says that a console version "is definitely in the plans" down the road.

Entering into PC Early Access this week, Arena Breakout: Infinite is an "an immersive tactical extraction FPS" bringing "realistic visuals and true-to-life audio" to genre fans around the world. For now, that launch is limited to the PC platform - but here's what the team says about a console release:

"Some folks on #ABI Discord are asking about a console version. There's no timetable yet, but in the long run, it's definitely in the plans."

We'll probably be waiting a little while to see this FPS come to Xbox, then, but the fact that we're seeing a 'definitely' in here is a good sign. If you're into your extraction shooters, you should be able to play both the new Delta Force and Arena Breakout: Infinite in the future!

In the meantime, if the PC Early Access build is of interest to you, feel free to check out that version's launch trailer up above. To access this early build of the game, you simply need to head to the game's official website and download the title directly from the team.
