Rockstar has a bit of a different approach to dealing with Xbox Game Pass than most devs; the company often adds and removes its games from the service in short bursts. We've seen this with the Xbox versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, and the company now looks set to tackle another Game Pass platform in the future.
According to notorious Rockstar reporter Tez2, the famous developer is now "preparing" GTA 5 for a PC Game Pass release. If this happens, it'll be the first time that the PC version has been playable on Microsoft's subscription service.
We don't have a Game Pass release date or window here, or even anymore details beyond the above post, but the insider seems pretty confident about the game's arrival. This news hasn't been confirmed by Xbox or Rockstar yet though, so we'll have to wait and see if it turns out to be true.
The PC version of GTA 5 is now almost 10 years old - having first arrived back in 2015 after both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the famous title. We'll of course bring you the news if we hear about an official announcement for GTA 5 on PC Game Pass.
