Another Xbox Games Showcase is in the books, and in the wake of the two-hour show wrapping up on June 9, it seems that Team Xbox has been gathering all the facts and figures surrounding the event. From our point of view it seemed like a pretty great show, and that feeling seems to have been reflected by Microsoft's internal findings.
Xbox exec Aaaron Greenberg has taken to social media to thank the team for all of its work on the showcase, while also revealing that it was the "highest rated" show Xbox has ever done - setting "total view records" along the way as well.
We can believe it, that's for sure. Activision's Black Ops 6 trailer is now the most-viewed ever on the Call of Duty YouTube channel, and the general feedback about the show from Xbox fans has been really positive - from what we've seen anyway.
Xbox and Nintendo certainly delivered this showcase season, even if some of the other events such as Ubisoft Forward fell a bit flat, all things considered. Congrats to the team, they put on a hell of a show and we're pretty darn excited about the next year or two on Xbox!
What do we think, folks, best Xbox showcase ever? Tell us your thoughts down below.

Xbox needed to have a great showcase just to survive this gen IMO. And they pulled it off, surprisingly. Here's hoping Avowed doesn't disappoint.
It's was a really strong showing. My only real concern is wondering when some of these will actually release. i.e. We are finally getting the games that Microsoft showcased 2, 3 or 4 years ago, hopefully we won't have to wait as long this time around.
Against all odds, Xbox has become the one with the greatest number and most interesting games in the pipeline.
@Banjo- is it really against all odds when they spent £75 billion to acheive that?
But I do agree there are some great looking games.
@Banjo Yeah seems that way
@PsBoxSwitchOwner sadly we have seen that when it comes to publishers, investment does not equal quality. It's pretty expensive to make games and sadly there are big sinkholes where money is wasted in the AAA industry.
Special thanks to Tango Gameworks and other who helped them survive rough patch there..
On a more serious note, I think they have a great lineup that is actually coming out just in time to push all those conversion opportunities to resubscribe as their pilled up years are finally running out. I don't know if that is on purpose, but if yes it's a master mind move on MS side.
And, while I do think Sony's roadmap is lacking in comparison, I believe Nintendo's, for the last year of the system mind you, was very comparable if not better.
Excellent showcase. Even the competition haven't been able to get theirs at this level of greatness.
@Llamada to be fair, the "competition" didn't even try.
