Avowed seems to be the major Xbox exclusive that's closest to launching right now - with the game recently getting an accidental November release date before being pulled by developer Obsidian. While the Xbox dev has retracted this date for now, the game is clearly fast approaching launch, with the team now announcing a 'Road to Avowed' livestream series.
Kicking off today at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST, the team will "revisit Pillars of Eternity I & II w/ guest devs", sharing Avowed development insights along the way.
The above post clearly states that this will be an ongoing Thursday series over at Obsidian, and while this first stream seems to contain Pillars of Eternity gameplay, we're hoping that more early looks at Avowed itself may crop up as the team gets closer to its Fall 2024 launch.
Anyway, it's obvious by the name that insights on Avowed will be the focus here, which is what we want to see. Earlier this week the team showed us a sneak peek at third person gameplay - more of that would be great in future livestreams, Obsidian!
Will you be tuning into this Avowed livestream series? Let us know, Obsidian fans!

I'd argue that if this due in November, then Black Ops 6 coming in October is Closest to Launch - although MSFS24 could beat it to release too.
Avowed certainly looks interesting but I have never played a Pillars game. I don't know if it will be something I want to jump in Day 1 or not due to time commitments but I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Looking forward to seeing more of this game. It's looking good but not fully sold it's what I want it to be.
This, Star Wars: Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Shadows and Dragon Age all potentially coming at the end of the year? What a great 2024. Won't have enough time to play all.
gonna be a long summer.
This game has been like a yo-yo for me in terms of how it's looked.... initially promising ...then it looked extremely meh....etc etc...currently slightly optimistic
