Anyone for bingo? As usual around this time of year, lots of Xbox fans have been taking to social media over the past few days to create their Xbox Games Showcase 2024 bingo cards, and there are some great examples of them already.
Our favourite is probably the one by Zztarg on the Xbox subreddit, which looks like this:
A quick browse on Twitter (or "X" if we have to call it that) reveals plenty of other designs as well - just type "Xbox Bingo" into the search bar and you'll come across more of them. They should be a fun supplement for this Sunday's show!
As noted on the Xbox bingo cards above, there are lots of possibles for the Xbox Games Showcase this year, from a DOOM: The Dark Ages world premiere to a release date for the likes of Avowed and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Whatever happens, it should be a great show - join us to watch it on Sunday at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Really hoping for some great announcements to change the tone that's been set for the year so far.
Whilst your favourite looks the most presentable, I think the chance of a Full House is extremely unlikely with Titanfall 3 in it... LOL
Everything is plausible except Titanfall 3. As much as I'd love to see another installment I don't think EA cares at this point.
Some firm release dates this year would be grand. And some surprises, a good showcase needs those, though they are harder and harder to come by.
EDIT: They couldn't resist putting Silksong on there could they. lol

I can't see the FF VII remake trilogy EVER coming to xbox. Sure I read an interview with the remake director who said as much too?
Silksong almost guaranteed? Did I miss something? Not that I would be surprised to see it turn up, but there's been so many misfires it seems a little presumptuous
About to give up on ffvii and just buy it on ps4. As always, hoping for Banjo but if it happened it probably wouldn't be something that I want (like nuts and bolts). I had completely forgotten about fable, now I'm more keen for the show.
@Dimey Maybe. SquareEnix just came out and said they were done with platform exclusives and wanted their games on every platform to better their chances of making the most money.
@RaZieLDaNtE Does Blue Dragon need a remake? I remember it looking pretty good for it's time with that art style. What do you want in a remaster/remake?
@Scummbuddy it could definitely use some modernization. It's a bit sluggish.
@Dimey I'd be perfectly fine with just a FF Pixel Remaster and a FF Tactics: The War of the Lions port with a few extra bells and whistles.
I’d put Fallout anything on my bingo card. After that State of Play, man, do I hope Xbox and Nintendo deliver this showcase. We need some second half 2024 releases. It’s looking barren out there.
@somnambulance Xbox definitely has a lot coming to finish out the year. PS and Nintendo on the other hand, I agree. Not much has been announced.

@FarmDog08 Xbox might. It seems like it, but I don’t count my hopes til I’ve got release dates. I’m really hoping this is a decent year for Xbox. It’s about time. A Silksong release date alone would break the internet, so if they’ve got that, everything else is practically icing. Lol.
@Dimey Square says a lot of things as facts that then change to different facts though. Truth is circumstantial with them. OT2 on Xbox early 2024, lol.
It really depends on the terms of their contract with Sony. It was a 1 year exclusive, that ended, we all assume they renewed with the DLC and all, but, Square stating they're done with exclusives, and the series is also on PC, I doubt Sony has a perpetual lock on the game. That would have cost them far too much for far too little gain.
I'm guessing the perpetual exclusivity was, if anything a sort of gentleman's agreement with Masuda in exchange for other perks, and a hard policy pivot to multiplat, Masuda being gone, lack of sales goals on PS being met (with a need to recover money on Rebirth badly), and new management at Sony amidst a budget crisis that's probably not interested in paying boatloads of money for a game that sold 3M, I think the exclusivity on 7 is well and done. Not sure if an XB port is worth it to them, but I think they're free to do it, and probably will look to put Rebirth on everything that can run it to claw back money.
@NEStalgia I hope it does come across, I'd love to play it... if it wasn't for the 30 or so games I still have to play on my xbox I'd just get a PS5 as there are a dozen or so games I'd like to play there!
@Dimey Don't worry, nobody on PS5 played it, either. That's why they're porting everything to Xbox/PC/Switch 2 now

Honestly? I saw the Pure Xov Bingo Card that mentioned Blue Dragon Remake, so that is why I put it there alongside Lost Odissey, wich are two of my favourite JRPGs of all time and I just want more people to give it a go...... And maybe get Sakaguchi-san and Uematsu-san to join together again and make sequels of both games. That is all.

@HonestHick I had last year's bingo card by mistake. I forgot the new one that has "AI" and "Copilot, in alternating squares.
