Wow! So glad to see Yooka Laylee get the remaster treatment. There were things about that game that people didn't like and this is a chance at fixing at least some of that.
Honestly didn’t think Yooka Laylee was a very good game and surprised to see a remaster coming. Not even that old. But if they do, yeah, maybe they’ll tweak things to make it better.
I enjoyed the 2D Impossible Liar much better and would rather have seen sequel to it.
No confirmation of Yooka Laylee remaster coming to consoles and Xbox though.
So thats no good.
@OldGamer999 Here's a bit from the PR we received:
"Yooka-Laylee is back in a new and improved version, Yooka-Replaylee, coming to PC and consoles."
Actually since impossible lair 2019 what have playtronics done? 5 years ago.
Or have missed a game release by them?
@FraserG
Thank you.
I did see some information saying maybe coming to PlayStation but that was all.
Any release date for consoles yet?
Antonblast, Beyond the Ice Palace 2, and Toxic Crusaders were the highlights of the show for me. I’m honestly sort of upset about Yooka Laylee if it’s not a free upgrade. The original is 7 years old…
Is the trailer trolling? Because there is blurry video just before the "new graphics".
Snoman Gaming made a video, Banjo-Kazooie vs. Yooka-Laylee, that tells why Yooka-Laylee is disappointing and I agree with him 100% in this case. The Impossible Lair is great, though. If this remaster is a free upgrade, cool, if not, I'll wait for Yooka-Laylee 3. I would love Playtonic to work with Rare on Banjo-Kazooie.
@Banjo-
I always thought after impossible lair Xbox would have got playtronics to make a B&K for Xbox consoles.
That was 2019, the game would have been ready to go by now.
@OldGamer999 No release date yet.
I have been close to pull the Yooka Laylee trigger for a minute now. I'm glad I didn't! Hopefully, this remaster will add some meat and cut some fat
Into the Pit was my favorite one. It looks so interesting. I’m in!!!!
