Just as Microsoft confirms that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will indeed be launching day one on Xbox Game Pass, developer Treyarch has dropped the game's 'Live Action Reveal Trailer' ahead of its big June Direct showcase.
As the name suggests, there's no gameplay in today's trailer; it serves more as a tone piece for what the team is going for with Black Ops 6. That tone is quite dark and edgy compared to what we've seen in more recent Black Ops titles - in many ways it harkens back to the spirit of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops on Xbox 360.
You'll see some familiar political faces discreetly showcased during the short clip up above, and we're sure that'll lead to some interesting headlines once the game is out in the wild and fans have blasted through the Black Ops 6 campaign.
The team hasn't revealed a launch date yet for this next Call of Duty title, but you can bet your bottom dollar that it'll be out later this year - and it's definitely coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. We'd expect to find out the exact release date, and what gameplay actually looks like, during Xbox's big summer showcase in early June.
