We've got another new Xbox controller on the way! This is the Nocturnal Vapor Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller, and it'll be launching next week on April 9th - with pre-orders now available via the Xbox Store.
Xbox describes the Nocturnal Vapor as featuring a "dynamic and unique light and dark green colour swirl" with "rubberised, green diamond-pattern grips". Here's a bit more about what you can expect from it:
"The Nocturnal Vapor’s design is a strong contrast of dark and light green. The swirl effect mixes these two colors across the top case and textured side grips, all while being accented by the surrounding parts. Feel the allure of the rubberized, green diamond-pattern grips on the back case, elevating your experience with a touch of sophistication."
Of course, all of the features seen in the official Xbox Wireless Controller are included here as well, and the price is currently sitting at £64.99 in the UK and $69.99 in the US. We'll throw some product links below, along with screenshots.

Really need the announcement and sell of the new controller before I can justify getting another. Hopefully they carry these colors over to them.

I don't like these vapor ones. My favorites so far are the 20th Anniversary Edition and the Gold Shadow. And I absolutely adore the Sonic Edition from Power A.
If Microsoft would publish as many games a year like they produce controller....😁
Is it just me or were the One S/One X Controllers just better because of the way better D Pad?
I played Tomb Raider 1-3 Collection and my god, it's a pain with the Series X standard controller.
@Nintendo4Sonic I don't mind the dpad. Just hate how clicky it is. Always preferred Xbox One controllers, especially that nice blue one. Would be nice if they made another with the usb c socket.

As a PlayStation gamer since my early days I’m new to the Xbox community (because of Starfield) and I love all those cool controller designs to choose from! Despite of the cool color designs they all look a bit plastic-y though, compared to the PS5 dual sense.
I like this one a lot but i am waiting for the rumored new controller.

@JON22 honestly, I think Microsoft own controllers aren't the big deal. Of course the standard controller looks nice and has a good feel.
But it's also cheap produced, the wear of pretty fast and leave a loose in the middle.
But even the Elite controller is disappointing. I had a little drift effect after not even 6 months. I paid 140€ for it.
I got a Power A controller which feels also bit cheap, but the D Pad is way better than the original and it has trigger locks.
But my absolute number 1 is the GameSir G7 SE. The hall effect sticks are top notch and the d pad is a dream. The Microsoft original feels like cheap crap now.
