Although the Lollipop Chainsaw remake is officially slated for a Summer 2024 launch, we've not really seen or heard much about the title ahead of its impending release. However, that should be about to change soon - with new comments from designer Yoshimi Yasuda suggesting that a big reveal is imminent.
Taking to Twitter, Yasuda has just said that 'Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP' is "almost here", and we should "get ready" for the game's return. Japanese outlet Gematsu has added a little translation context though, saying that the team is preparing for its "official reveal" rather than the release itself.
Still, the game's actual release shouldn't be too far off if the team is still aiming for its projected summer launch - a launch that was confirmed as recently as last August. We're quite intrigued to see how this Xbox 360 cult classic holds up in 2024, and how many changes the team at Dragami Games has made during development.
Excited for this one to come back? Tell us what you think in the comments.

I really hope this does well and opens up the possibility of a Killer 7 remake
They confirmed it’s no longer a remake, it’s a remaster “because the fans wanted that instead” when that’s just not true.
I can t wait for this.
Day one purchase for me. I adored the original and am still gutted it never came to BC because of the music rights.
Man the censors will have a field day with this one
How much is going to be censored?
@IssaBrvndo
Nice avatar!
@Spider-Kev Nice name!
Definitely getting censored or toned down. And will probably look worse too with some ugly default Unreal Engine lighting.
No thanks.
I really enjoyed the silliness in this game. So I’m hoping this remake/remaster turns out well.
