Xbox has been spotted promoting Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on its console storefront lately, and the team's heavy advertising push seems to be paying off. Coming by way of PocketGamer, the new mobile CoD release has seemingly raked in $1.4m in its first four days on the market.
That's according to 'AppMagic' data; tracked from after the game's launch day on March 22nd through March 25th. If you count early time zone releases and day one revenue, the outlet claims you can bump that number up to roughly $1.6m so far.
Given that Warzone Mobile is a free-to-play release, this seems like a healthy number that we're sure will continue to grow and grow given the sheer popularity of Call of Duty. Several months before launch, this mobile battle royale spinoff gathered over 45 million pre-registered users - so, there's definitely huge demand for the title already.
Anyway, this is all good to see, and now that Microsoft owns Activision and Call of Duty - this sort of success should feed nicely into all-things Xbox. One of the benefits of acquiring this huge franchise, we suppose!
