Now and again, we come across some Xbox Game Pass Perks that are particular standouts (free trials such as Paramount Plus come to mind), but these two upcoming Perks might be the best since the program started!
Firstly, on March 12th, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get access to the Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass at no extra charge. This will provide access to a couple of BGM sets on that date, followed by a Velvet Costume and BGM set in May, and then finally the "Episode Aigis -The Answer-" DLC in September.
And that's not all! For those looking forward to the release of Final Fantasy 14 Online on March 21st, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to claim the Starter Edition of the game for free, providing 30 days of paid membership along with full access to "three award-winning titles" - FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, Heavensward and Stormblood.
These two Perks will likely join a slate of other freebies throughout the month, so Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members are going to be treated well over the next few weeks! Let's hope for even more amazing Perks like these in the future...

Huge W overall!
I highly advise against claiming the starter edition of FFXIV until you have sunk a decent amount of time into the free trial. Once you claim that starter edition you will have 30 days to play before you have to pay for the FFXIV online subscription aswell as gamepass.
I truly hope Microsoft and Square can work something out to make this playable without needing any tier of gamepass.
They need good Perks like this more often, things offering actual content of some kind. As I said before, Skins & coins for a bunch of F2P games you might care about half of at best are not the right way to go, especially when they don't even pick the most popular ones.
The starter edition is only free between March 21st and April 19th.
Would I get the free 30 days if I had an ff14 subscription in the past?
Sadly I'm not interested in Reload and even less in FF14.
Still, it's a great month for perks.
