Almost a year ago, The Last Case of Benedict Fox launched for Xbox Game Pass after getting quite a bit of attention on its reveal back in 2022, and the team has now announced a major upgrade for all players - including on Game Pass.
Landing on March 26, The Last Case of Benedict Fox: Definitive Edition brings a new Limbo Area, new secrets, enhanced exploration, fluid combat improvements and more to the 2D Xbox adventure.
On the same day that PC and Xbox players get this free upgrade, the newly enhanced version of Benedict Fox will drop on PlayStation 5. Up to this point, the title has been a PC and Xbox exclusive, but it will open up to PS5 later this month.
The team has dropped a short trailer for its announcement up above, and hopefully we get some more info on this Benedict Fox update in the run up to its arrival on March 26th.
Will you try out this free Xbox upgrade when it lands? Tell us your foxy Game Pass plans down below.

I enjoyed this briefly but I then found combat a bit off and struggled the know where to go next. If this is likely to improve that I might start it again.
Have to redownload this then enjoyed the game so il deffo go back to play the new bits😎
I liked this game quite a lot despite many flaws it had. I played at release but heard they already patched a lot of the worst. Worth a play imo
On of my many backlog regrets is not playing this one…. When it updates I will try!
Funny timing, I just played through this about 2 weeks ago. I had a good time but didn't love it enough to revisit. Good game to check out on GP, though
I hope they either made the combat not bad or made some way to bypass it!
I enjoyed it when it came to GP last year but don‘t think I‘ll play it again. Recommend!
