Alan Wake 2 was a huge hit on Xbox last year, becoming a bit of a critical darling around the time of its release in October 2023. The main game was certainly a complete experience, but the team has since been working on DLC, and a new tweet from Remedy dev Sam Lake hints that its launch might not be too far off.
This week, Lake has wrapped up his final DLC mocap shoot at Remedy - in fact, this will be his last ever performance for Alan Wake 2. For those of you who don't know, the famous Remedy developer plays the role of Alex Casey in the 2023 Alan Wake sequel.
Interestingly, Alan Wake 2's Deluxe Upgrade actually mentions two expansions — 'Night Springs' and 'Lake House' — so, we're intrigued to see how the team plans to release these DLC packs. The whole upgrade only costs £15 / $20 though, so we'd expect these expansions to be fairly short all things considered.
Anyway, hopefully we get some official info on one or both of these Alan Wake 2 DLCs soon. The base game was a fantastic experience, which makes us all the more excited for Night Springs and Lake House!

They still need to fix the lip sync, I’ve been waiting for a fix before playing. I’d refund at this point if I could.
@Fenbops I only finished the game last night no lip sync problems for me at all play away it's brilliant
I know this is silly but if they add more trophies with these DLCs like they did with Control I hope at least one of them is a gold trophy because that platinum list looks terrible without any.
It’s looking like this will be the year of DLC instead of new games come summer time. Erdtree, Alan Wake, FF16… We’re eating good on DLC
@BIG3 wrong site unfortunately
