The release of Pentiment on PlayStation last month caused some concern when it was discovered that the PS5 version of the game actually ran at a higher frame rate. Obsidian mentioned at the time how a patch was on the way for Xbox, and now in a new update for the game, it's officially arrived.
As highlighted on social media, patch 1.3 enables 120FPS in the Xbox Series X version. According to previous reports it was capped at 60FPS.
While it should be a case of forgive and forget, there seems to still be some individuals on social media who are admittedly bitter about this. When this was discovered in February, Pentiment's game director Josh Sawyer at the time mentioned how the frame rate on Xbox being disabled was "just a bug".
So, there you go - Pentiment now runs at 120FPS on Xbox! Will you be revisiting it? Let us know in the comments.

Have the updated the languages?
The translated version of this game is like a machine translation. It doesn't make sense.
now we just need starfield to go to ps5 so we get 60 fps on series x.
It's gonna make a real difference, alright.
@rustyduck Never happening without mods. Only time Bethesda released a game in 60 FPS was Skyrim Anniversary. Just took them 10 years.
Now Pentiment is a quadruple A game.
