Following the massive success of Palworld across Xbox consoles and PC over the past few days, the developer behind the game has released an official Palworld roadmap, containing various new features in the works.
You can see an at-a-glance view of the Palworld roadmap up above, and the bit we're most interested in is the "planned future updates" section, which mentions eight major additions that will be coming to the game across Xbox and PC.
- PvP
- Raid Bosses (End-Game Content)
- Pal Arena (PvP for Pals)
- Steam-Xbox Crossplay
- Various Xbox Feature Improvements
- Server Transfers and Migrations
- Improvements to the Building System
- New islands, Pals, Bosses, and Technologies
In addition to these, there are some critical issues and key improvements that are currently being addressed by developer Pocketpair, such as adjustments to how Pals act around your base, as well as some extra bug fixes.
Just a few hours ago, it was confirmed that Palworld has now sold over 7 million copies in just five days, so it's clearly got a big future ahead of it! Keep in mind it's still in early access as well, and will remain that way for around a year.

I see that Nintendo know full well about Palworld, and aren't planning to take it down due to the laws concerning parodies and how it's distinct enough. Considering they took down the mod sharpish, they're watching it like a hawk.
damn it... this game has sucked me in like animal crossing during lockdown...
7 or 8 hours in, starting to get weapons for my pals, and considering trying one of the dungeons soon...
@Kaloudz When they put the ban hammer down I can imagine it would be something daft like the recent bike Pokémon (Koraidon), it won't be jigglypoofs, charlizards & machumps 😂
On the one hand, it's great that they're working on improvements. On the other, that means I'll postpone my own try of the game, since I would rather play it with at least the initial fixes.

Maybe a silly question, but does this game have achievements? I know sometimes in game preview they don't.
@SodaPop6548 Yes. Palworld has 10 Achievements in the preview.
@ValentineMeikin Even more surprised about a SA @ Naughty Dog said the dev was “cheating”. There is a lot of controversy about this game and this will make it only bigger!
Haha this game is truly a smash hit. I have many many many games, and what do i play all the time. Yes, this game. Its soo fun, even just doing small stuff.
Nintendo is watching with a microscope when they add a Pikachu lol.
Honestly not had this much fun with a game in a while. If Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate were wake up calls for what well made RPG and TTRPGs could be, then Palworld is the same for monster collectors.
Nintendo SHOULD be watching this closely because they're giving what Scarlet and Violet under delivered so hard on.
