Earlier in the week, Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox made headlines once again when a user received a year-long ban after accidentally uploading some game clips featuring adult-only scenes. Larian was quick to respond, with the studio's Director of Publishing noting how "annoying and uncool" this was.
Now in an update, it seems the issue has been flagged. In an update from the Belgian-based developer via social media, Microsoft has been made "aware of the issue" and any bans should begin to lift. Here's the message in full via social media:
Larian Studios: "Players whose capture clips have been flagged on Xbox should now see their bans begin to lift. Work is ongoing, and the Microsoft team is aware of the issue! If you're wanting to upload any clips in the meantime, make sure to turn off mature content."
Alternatively, if you want to disable automatic video uploads, be sure to follow the steps in our previous story:
Apart from this issue, Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox has also experienced some problems with its saves, with Larian previously mentioning how it's taking this issue "very seriously" and offering a workaround fix until Microsoft can resolve it.
How has your own experience with Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox been so far? Let us know in the comments.

Xbox really messed up BG3 launch as much as possible. Next level of bad luck (or maybe incompetence).
At this point I'll be surprised if Larian continues to put their games on Xbox.
@Cikajovazmaj definitely incompetence.
Seems nothing but drama with BG3 on Xbox.
They really put effort into the Xbox version haven't they haha
Seems odd that people are getting banned.
I have upload mature screenshots from Alan Wake 2 before and never got hit with any warning or anything.
I guess a dead fat naked man isn't considered obscene. 🤷♂️
@OrfeasDourvas Would be very snobby and short sighted to do that but what ever they see best I won't lose sleep over it
No xbox has made baldurs gate 3 not fun this game was ment for adults just like GTA and cyberpunk but yet the xbox live enforcement bans adults form adult games instead of doing there job and baning the kids who should not be playing these games in the first place
@CharlieChooChoo the bans are for sure MS issue, but the saves? I'm not so sure, why is it only BG3?
@CharlieChooChoo I see, can't speak for the other games but I have 100+ hours on Starfield with no save issues, guess I'm just lucky!
Will there be a compensation?
@Kisake maybe. Personally I think it's more the parents job to police their own kids rather than an outside agency.
Sorta on topic. Does anyone know if the save error is fixed on xbox yet?
I agree with u on that it is the parents job and I do believe laws should be made to hold parents accountable for buying games like GTA or cyberpunk or balders gate 3
For there kids
