If you're a big Microsoft Rewards user and you like to use the service to top up your Xbox Game Pass subscription, we wanted to bring your attention to an "End of Year Sale" that's currently live in specific regions (such as the UK).
This sale allows you to get three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for 28,000 points rather than the usual 35,000, so it's a nice little saving! There are also discounts for three months of PC Game Pass (which is now 19,000 points), along with various other Gift Cards for the likes of Minecraft and League of Legends.

In order to find these offers, you can navigate to the website version of Microsoft Rewards and go to the "Redeem" section (where you'll see "Sale" banners), or they should also appear on the MS Rewards app on your Xbox console.
If you don't see any of the sales and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate isn't 28,000 points for you, then the "End of Year Sale" isn't applicable in your region - at least not yet. As for how long this sale is expected to last, we have absolutely no idea! If you want to take advantage of these offers, it's best to do it as quickly as possible.
In other Microsoft Rewards news, it appears the 15-minute cooldown that was implemented in some countries recently has extended to more of them - we've seen reports from users in Germany, the UK and the US over the past few days that they've been experiencing it. We haven't come across it ourselves just yet, but it might be incoming soon!
Can you see this Microsoft Rewards "End of Year Sale"? Tell us down in the comments section below.

There really, really, really NEEDS to be a discount for buying a bundle (12 months) of game pass just like it was with Xbox live.
Honestly and truly starting to believe Microsoft got rid of Xbox live for that reason - - to nickel and dime customers.
Meh shame it's not for gift cards ..or I'd cash out ...as I CBA doing the rewards anymore now they have nerfed them and got the cooldowns on searches
I've got 26,000 points right now, and with all the reductions I can't see making it to 28k before this deal ends...
I haven't been getting points for achievements for the past several days, and now I'm not getting points for Bing searches. So at this point it might take me months to get 2k more points
If you get the auto redeem one it's only 10500 so still cheaper than 35k if cant get the deal just incase you didn't know 🙂
Is this stackable? Does anyone know?
I still have 6-8months left, if I buy does it just extend my time of GP?
@PsBoxSwitchOwner
It does
If they implement the 15 minutes for 3 searches thing, they would chase me away so fast. The rewards system is what keeps me invested with MS and it’s becoming downright bad which means goodbye for me.
@FatalBubbles I’m genuinely curious how rewards keeps you active on MS platforms.
Sure you may get a month of GPU free or a voucher a month. But it isn’t exactly free. You could probably earn that much in $$ just by doing 1hour extra work. Yet to earn 12k points (or so) across a month takes much Ionger than this.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner I get paid salary, working an extra hour doesn’t make me any money. I also have a wife and kid so I try to not spend a lot on myself and games.
I earn enough rewards that I have never paid for GamePass and I’ve gotten other stuff on top of it. It would take me 2-3 minutes a day to knock out the reward searches.
What MS is offering with Xbox isn’t enough for me to pay out of pocket right now.
I'm sorry I only discovered MS rewards, Apr of this year, when I saw posts of people saying MS going to pay for their Xbox series X. There is no question whoever dreamed up/started MS rewards points was waaay too generous. No business would be giving their products away for free, month after month with no purchase required, so I fully expect the chopping of rewards points to continue.
It seems MS has finally clued in with their divide by 10 in handing out rewards points. It's soon going to be pointless (see what I did there....) to actually try to collect points.
@FatalBubbles they have implemented the 3 searches every 15 mins in the uk for some people. i got it yesterday and for me its both pc and mobile.
fine Microsoft you win i wont use Bing or edge again rewards was the only reason i was using them Google is alot better
@GoldenPants you do realise MS get something in return for us doing these rewards right?
They aren’t just giving us the money.
They get things like increased traffic, advertising revenue from more people using bing etc. people buying a game they may not have because they have a voucher. People using other MS products/services.
It obviously helped Microsoft as well as us gamers.
I'm not saying I don't want freebies, it's just MS rewards were insanely generous, yes, MS may benefit, but I highly doubt it makes business sense, which is why we're getting the nerfing of the points. If it made business sense it would not get nerfed, so we already have the answer from MS if it makes sense. They won't say it in so many words, but the actions they are taking is telling us what we don't want to hear.
For example, As @trev666 says they're is no question google search is better than Bing. Getting daily search points was not changing engagement to Bing. You just powered through to get the points & that is it.
What most don't realise is it's still cheaper to claim 3 months of gamepass core and convert it to 50 days of game pass ultimate even if you are subscribed. If you calculate points per day that tell you what you need to know.
GPU 28000/90=311 points/day
GPC 15000/50=300 points/day
I've been redeeming this way for ages and it's been the best value.
